Beautiful unit at MKV

Location is perfect. Right near ocean, pool, restaurant, bar. Nice view of water. Huge patio. Not over furnished, lots of room in unit. Very pleased!

Excellent location and property

Well equipped kitchen and BBQ area, proximity to the Kaanapali beach walk and lovely pool area are our highlights! The lanai was perfect for watching the sunset and we saw whales off the coast at every meal. The unit was spacious for two people, and we enjoyed our early mornings and early bedtimes very much since it was so quiet!

Maui Family Vacation

Our stay at this condo was perfect for our family of four! It was clean, well cared for, and had everything we needed (it looks just like the pictures online). The location on the property and in Ka'anapali was fantastic! The pool and beach were beautiful and were within a few steps of the condo. We rented snorkel gear for the week at the hut on the property and snorkeled at the reef just down the beach (very short walk on the beach). It was amazing...lots of fish and we saw a large turtle! The beach walkway was great for morning walks, and we enjoyed coffee/breakfast on the balcony at the condo each morning. We saw a beautiful sunset from the balcony, too! The food & drinks at Castaway Cafe were very good and the staff on the property were very friendly. Communication with the property management was excellent and thorough. Only a four minute drive to Whalers Village in Lahaina...great shops & restaurants (property offers a shuttle, as well) and 10 min. drive to Kapalua. We didn't want to leave...everything was perfect! We would definitely stay here, again! Thank you!

Perfect Location for a Family

Our family of four spent two weeks at the condo and it lived up to all of our expectations. The location is amazing and it had all of the amenities that our family needed. It was spacious and clean, and the laundry machine was a definite plus! We usually rent beach chairs and bring our own beach towels so the fact that the condo was stocked with those items (along with beach umbrellas and cooler bags for the beach) was a huge plus! The management team was excellent and extremely communicative, keeping us in the loop every step of the way and answering all of our questions within minutes of texting them. We had an issue with some of the pillows in the condo (we are allergic to down) and when we texted them about it, they went and bought 4 new pillows for us and dropped them off that day. They definitely go the extra mile! We will definitely be back in the near future. Mahalo!

Wonderful condo and great location

I hesitate to write this review because I want to keep this place a secret. Prior to the trip. Team Stice responded to my questions almost immediately. Condo was wonderful. Check-in was easy and the people behind the front desk are incredibly friendly and helpful. Entering the unit the first time, the air conditioning was already turned on, which was a nice touch. Kitchen is well appointed. Beds are comfortable. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was nice to have. The property is well maintained. Lounge chairs are available on the lawn. The beach is sandy with no rock or coral near the shore, perfect for taking a dip. We saw turtles swimming by every day. Lot of great restaurants nearby, but Castaways on the property is a solid casual restaurant with live music every other night. I had a great stay and look forward to coming back.

My Happy Place

This was a lovely condo. It had everything that we needed and then some. The unit has lots of space. It also has a stackable washer and dryer.😃My sister and I had a wonderful time! There is great snorkeling by black rock. The Castaway restaurant has wonderful food. I am on the plane headed home and I can't wait to come back!

Close to everything, but quiet!

Comfortable, well set up with good beds, couch and patio furniture were comfortable. Kitchen was good. Bathroom set up is different, toilet is not handicap accessible. Closet doors are broken, bathroom toilet door was broken. Those were not deal breakers, but just showed lack of maintenance and care. You will need to park and walk and carry everything about the length of 2 football fields and go up a flight of concrete stairs. Pool is nice. Beach access was nice, there were dolphins playing 10’ off shore one morning and a curious sea turtle another morning. Air conditioning was tricky as it flips off if you access the patio and don’t close the door perfectly. We had to reset it several times. Not a good long term stay place, but okay for a few days.

Beautiful condo with an incredible location!

We were beyond impressed with this unit and are so happy we chose it. It looks just as it does in the pictures and comes so well stocked. The proximity to the pool, restaurant and beach was perfect. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Loved the Location!

This place brings a lot to the table! It’s a very open, spacious unit with everything you could need for the beach and pool (pool noodles, beach toys, 4 tommy bahama chairs, beach umbrellas, cooler, drying rack for towels and suits). I also appreciated having chip clips and lots of Tupperware to take sandwiches and snacks down to the beach. Thank you for thinking of those small touches! The location is amazing for those who want to be as close as you can get to the beach, restaurant, and big pool. The lanai is a great size. We enjoyed eating our breakfast out there and sitting and having a drink while our toddler took her afternoon nap all while enjoying being outside with a good view. We would definitely stay here again. I think one way to make this place even better would be to upgrade the bedroom pillows to something comfier and more hotel-like as they are pretty darn flat. Otherwise, this place had everything we needed to make our family vacation a 10/10. For anyone staying who have young kids, Baby Beach was a must! Lots of turtles and our toddler could play in the water since it was shallow and calm. Thank you for the recommendation!

Fantastic stay in Maui!!

This is a fantastic place to stay at in Maui and when we return this is exactly the place we will book! The place was clean, fresh and modern . Very spacious! Fantastic location overlooking the pool and just steps to the beach and cafe! It has a large balcony with beautiful views of the ocean! The owners were wonderful to deal with responding to text communication promptly! I very highly recommend this place!

A Stay in Paradise

Pool in need of repair

Although MKV is an older resort it’s always been comfortable and relaxing, the employees are fantastic and see to your every need. I was surprised to see the pool was still in need of repair..mosaic glass sticking up around the pool area, very dangerous!

Perfect location at Kaanapali Villas

With a large balcony overlooking the ocean and pool at Kaanapali Villas, we had easy access to everything we needed. The space was clean and had everything we needed. An added bonus was the coffee maker and coffee available for use. Our kids used the beach toys and we LOVED having access to a washer/dryer for our stay.
