Windmill Lodge has brand new owners that are giving this already beautiful cabin lots of love and updates. Fully renovated with additional 6th bedroom. Windmill Lodge is a 4,000 sq. ft., single story 6 bedroom 4 bathroom cabin that accommodates up to 18+ guests. This cabin has 5 king master suites all in separate wings of the house. There is a teen/bunk room with 3 Full beds. There are two large living areas that are perfect for hanging out and watching movies, a sunroom, a card/board game room, and a large gameroom with 2 arcade games, foosball table, regulation cornhole set, and a smart T.V.

The outdoor area is awesome and is complete with a brand new large top of the line hot tub with a waterfall, built in bluetooth stereo, and led color changing lights. There is also a large fire pit with lots of seating and tables and there are also iron grates you can put over the fire pit if you want to open fire cook hamburgers and hot dogs. Windmill Lodge is located on an acre plus lot with lots of space for a boat, RV, or both. New Market and cute shops within walking distance!

This cabin has an amazing layout and there are no others out there like this one. What our guest really love the most about Windmill Lodge is that each bedroom area is separated through another set of doors, and each bedroom area is in its own private wing of the house. All three King Masters have their own wing and then Bedrooms 4 & 5 (also King beds) share a wing as well. There is so much privacy, and the common areas are huge and inviting.

As the owners and the managers of the cabin, we spend lots of time making sure everything is the very best it can be and we always strive to make sure our guests are happy and well taken care of. We put a lot of time and effort into making sure the cabin is warm, inviting, and over the top clean. We decided to self manage because we love this cabin and want to make sure it gets the time and attention it needs. We also make ourselves available to our guests to help with any questions or needs.

Located on beautiful Lucian Sorrel Road just north of the Hochatown area, Windmill Lodge is in an absolutely fantastic location that is very easy to get to all of Broken Bow's main attractions.

PET FRIENDLY ($60 Fee per Pet per stay)

There are exterior cameras on the premises for when the property is unoccupied and for the safety of our guest as well. We do not check cameras while guest are there unless they ask us to.

The house is beautiful and well maintained. Very large and perfect for big groups. I have never experienced better customer service and hospitality that was given from the owner, James. The communication was outstanding and he even took the time to add personal touches for our stay. We had a group of 14 adults and had more than enough room. Thank you, James for being so attentive and wonderful. Can't wait to return!

This place is beautiful!! Check-in was smooth and easy. All the beds were extremely comfortable. We loved the stay here and there was plenty of room for everyone. Family Time

This was the first time I have every rented a large property for a family getaway. I was not sure what to expect. But James made everything very easy. He was always available and gave me all the information I didn't know I needed. My family comes together once a year. So this time together is very special to me. The house was so spacious, relaxing, and had everything we needed to enjoy the time we were together. It's also conveniently located so there are lots of things to do if you want to get out and explore. We had a great time enjoying the firepit, jacuzzi, and cooking out. We made many memories and had an awesome experience.

Exceeded expectations

Highly recommend this spot. We needed a place that could fit 17 people and had handicap accessibility. The description was exactly as hoped. There were 3 bedrooms with a wing and large bathroom of their own, 2 other bedrooms that shared a bathroom, 3 beds in a game room and another extra room on its own. Note that the bathrooms do not have doors and have walk in showers. The game room was large, living room easily sat everyone, the fire pit was a nice addition, and the hot tub was enjoyed. Everything was clean and communication was responsive and positive.

Great for 4-5 families

We had our church homegroup here and it was wonderful! We had 9 adults and 7 kiddos ranging from 2-11. The weather wasn’t the best so the house was great to keep the kids entertained and the adults plenty of space to gather, cook and fellowship. Great space to play games and the kitchen is great for large group. Two large tables that were great for kids table and adult table. There is also a large patio that is not really represented in pictures that was great since it was raining one of the days. The firepit was perfect for s’mores and the yard was plenty of space for the boys to play football. Only thing was it was very close to other cabins which was fine since whether wasn’t great but if you are looking for more seclusion not the best place but if you want a great house with an easy walk to a shop for little things and close to activities for kids this is a great house! Host was also wonderful and VERY easy to do business with!

Spacious Cabin

Windmill Lodge is a fantastic cabin for those looking for a place with ample space! We were a group of 8 adults plus our pets and there was more than enough rooms for us to not be in each others way. The rooms were spacious with plenty of places to put your belongings. The kitchen had plenty of seating for all of us to be able to sit together to enjoy a meal. There was plenty to do at the cabin as well between the hot tub, game room, and fire pit. An added plus was James! He is a fantastic host and super easy to get in touch with. He was extremely responsive to messages and accommodating. I highly recommend Windmill Lodge if you are visiting with a larger group.

Cousins reunion

Our age group was 61-90. Cousins and spouses met to share memories and even make a few ones. Some in our group had not seen each other in 50 years. The house was so accommodating, room to visit as a group or sneak off with just a few. Hope to do it again in 3 years.

Beautiful Cabin in a Beautiful Area

Overall, our stay was wonderful. There was plenty of space for all of us (16 people) to spread out. We loved the giant double tables in the dining room off the kitchen. There's lots to do in the area for just about everyone.

Perfect family getaway.

This house was perfect for us. It’s great if you have young kids, no stairs to worry about. It’s well laid out, with areas for gathering and connecting. But, the bedrooms are separated for that alone time. Interior is updated with luxurious finishes. Plenty of outdoor spaces and room to run and play. Host was very kind and responsive. We will definitely be back. We loved our time at Windmill Lodge.

Celebrating mom’s birthday!

Huge house, everyone had their own area. This is great if you get “peopled out”! We were able to play pool, soak in the hot tub, play games, and enjoy family. James communicated back quickly, very kind, and has a beautiful house. We will be back. Our favorite cabin, by far!

Wedding weekend getaway

We rented this cabin for our elopement micro wedding, so that everyone attending could stay under the same roof. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, quiet, and the floor plan makes it feel so spacious! James is awesome at communicating and was so flexible with me when I needed it. I would definitely recommend staying here!

High School Fishing Tournament

The cabin was lovely! Was only able to take about a 2-5 minute shower due to the hot water tank not keeping up. The cleanliness of the cabin was not to our liking though. The floors had dirt, and food crumbs on them. They did not look like they had been mopped in awhile, and the beddings did not appear to be washed. Other than the tankless water heaters not keeping up (with 1 person showering at a time) and the lack of the cabin being thoroughly cleaned, it was a very nice place to stay!

SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!

2 day stay of rest and relaxation. This house is HUGE ! Extremely clean and lavishly decorated! We had more than enough room for 10 people. Each room has privacy wings, there is a game room , hot tub , fire pit etc….James was an amazing host who offered us a discounted extra night and extended checkout time! One of our top 5 VRBO stays!! There is a grocery/liquor store within 1000 ft yet you still feel secluded . Easy check in and out! We will always choose this cabin when we are in the area! Way to go Windmill LODGE! This is how it’s done!!

Birthday Weekend

We rented this cabin for my birthday weekend. Since we were going to have a few older attendees we were wanting a one-story cabin that still had enough rooms and space for our group to spread out and not feel cramped. This cabin checked all those boxes and more. It is well designed and offers so many amenities to occupy all ages for the whole weekend. The cabin owners were available to us all weekend and very responsive to all our questions. We can’t wait to book another weekend!

Perfect for a big family gathering

This was our Christmas gift to our grown children (and grandchildren). We got away the week after Christmas to New Year’s Day. I especially liked that no one had to sleep on a pull out couch! Everyone had a room. The gathering areas were wonderful. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, game room, and living room. We used the small breakfast nook for our puzzles! The kitchen was well equipped. We liked the special touches—Christmas decor, s’more kits, and blankets. We also liked walking to the little market.
