Ligger i den vakre Hudson Valley i LaGrange / Hopewell Junction-området, dette 20 mål store landstedet, på 20 flate hektar av det som var en tidligere hestegård, og har et 5-roms hjem, et basseng, en låve og egen garasje. Dette huset ligger i det vakre Covered Bridge-området og har en praktisk beliggenhet rett utenfor Taconic Parkway, noen få miles fra Vassar College og bare 75 miles nord for NYC, noe som gjør det perfekt som enten et familiehjem eller en weekend. To dekk vender ut mot en ekspansiv plen og basseng og er perfekte for sommergriller. Det er 3 separate suiter med to soverom og to store barnerom som gjør huset til det perfekte familiens hjem. Huset kan lett sove opptil 12 gjester.

Plassert bare 9 kilometer fra campus Vassar College, gjør dette stedet perfekt for konfirmasjonsuka eller Foreldrehelg. Marist College, Culinary Institute of America (CIA) og det historiske Roosevelt Mansion ligger bare 25 kilometer unna.

Hudson River ligger en 20 minutters kjøretur, og sentrum av Beacon NY og moderne kunstmuseum, DIA Beacon, er også en 20 minutters kjøretur nedover Taconic State Parkway.

Rhinebeck og Millbrook ligger innen en halv times kjøretur.

Denne familieeide eiendommen er veldig privat og avslappende. 20 rolige dekar - har en softballkamp på hagen. En 56-tommers flatskjerm-TV er utstyrt med filmkanaler HBO, SHOWTIME og STARZ samt mange sportspakker. Gratis WIFI også.

Det oppvarmede bassenget har et lite stupebrett, og de ovenpå rommene er åpne og perfekte for mange barn.

Det er rolig året rundt. Høsttakkefesten er en så vakker tid i Hudson Valley, og trærne som omgir eiendommen vil være nydelige høstfarger.

Ideell for eierne ville være familier som kan bo lengre. Eventuelt å ta huset i sommerhalvåret eller høsten eller vårsemesteret.

En veldig smart, lydhør og dyktig eiendomssjef og altmuligmann administrerer eiendommen og kan svare på spørsmål og håndtere alle problemer som kan komme opp. Hvis du tilbringer dagen med å reise til huset, kan du ta kontakt med eiendomssjefen hvis du ønsker visning eller assistanse under oppholdet, i. e. litt lett shopping før du ankommer. Den tjenesten som skal forhandles mellom parter før ankomst.

Splashdown Beach er et badeland med morsomme sklier og turer og et bølgebasseng, som ligger bare 20 minutter unna for sommerglede.

DUTCHESS COUNTY FAIR er alltid den siste uken i august. Og det er mange NY-messer som oppstår gjennom sommeren sammen med musikkfestivaler. Det vakre Mohonk Inn ligger i nærheten.

Hudson Valley er et fantastisk sted å utforske.

Repeat Stay…Still Wonderful

This is our 2nd time at this oasis in the Hudson Valley. The house is perfect for a family. Our family consisted of 6 adults and 2 children age 6. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The immaculate pool is the highlight of the house. The golf cart is s close second. There are also games and an arcade game. The house is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked The owner is very responsive and always available for any issues. Highly recommend.

Perfect family getaway

We stayed for a week at the end of July. This was our second summer staying here, we love this property so much. We were a group of 6 adults, 5 kids (ages 10 and under) and a dog, and it was just the right amount of space. The owner is so friendly and very responsive to texts. The property is very private and just a short drive from a grocery store and many restaurants. The house is huge and comfortably furnished. The kids love having the upstairs all to themselves. There are more than enough toys and games to keep them entertained on a rainy day or when they need a break from the sun. We enjoyed family board games almost every night, and the arcade game provided lots of entertainment too. Outdoors, the pool and golf cart were big hits and we also had fun playing wiffle ball in the huge lawn. If you are looking for a local hiking trail, we enjoyed the Dutchess Rail Trail, it’s a wide paved trail with lots of shade, dog friendly, and very scenic. I highly recommend this property, it’s perfect for a family getaway. We would love to stay again in the future.

Great 4th of July Weekend

We are 2 families from the city that wanted to take our young children to the country for the long 4th of July weekend for some fresh air and swimming. This property was perfect. The house large and spacious. The kitchen is gorgeous and well stocked for us to cook for our 4 kids and 4 adults throughout the weekend. Anything we needed, the market was close by. The pool was clean and well used by our group, as the weather was hot! The golf cart was a hit with the kids. Coming back into a well air conditioned house was a godsend. Ling was so communicative throughout the weekend and was so helpful. Can't recommend this property enough! Thank you for renting to us!

Huge and fun house - very kid-friendly

We had a great stay with 4 adults, 6 kids, and one grandparent. The house is packed with play-areas and games for kids - huge outdoor space with fun toys - and a great pool that everyone enjoyed. It's a beautiful custom house with ultra-modern appliances. Highly recommended if you're in the area with a large group

An oasis in the Hudson Valley

We rented this house for our extended family of 6 adults, (2) 5 year olds and a small dog. I have rented numerous houses and this is far and away the best I have ever stayed in. Let me elaborate: The house was immaculate. Everything was exactly as pictured and presented. There was so much room for everyone. The kitchen is beautiful and a pleasure to cook in. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. And the toys for the children…there are so many no need to bring your own. If you enjoy vintage arcade games and shooting hoops indoors this house has it. Now to the pool-it too was clean with pool noodles. I asked if there were floats for the 5 year olds ( their request) and the owner said she would be sure to get 2 for them. When we arrived, to the children’s delight there were 2 floats! The poolside bathroom was a real plus with small children. That is indicative of the kind of person the owner is. Thoughtful, kind and very responsive. She checked in with me numerous times to ensure I didn’t need anything or have any questions. Whenever I messaged her she responded very quickly. And last but not least is the golf cart to ride around the 20 acres. If you’re lucky as you drive around you may see a bunny or a gopher/ groundhog (not sure which it was). In summary this is an oasis that I high recommend.

Perfect family getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our week and wished we could have stayed longer! The home is beautiful, very clean, and plenty of space. We had 6 adults (3 couples) and 5 children ages 9 and younger and the layout was perfect for us. The kids were thrilled with the 3rd floor - there were so many toys and lots of space for them to play. The arcade game and golf cart were also a huge hit. The pool is very well maintained and the water was a perfect temperature, we were able to swim every day. Our dog and kids loved running around the huge yard. The property is private yet still close to a grocery store and restaurants, it’s a great location. The owner is also very kind and responsive. We had one or two very minor issues and she responded to my texts immediately. I can’t say enough good things about this property. We are already thinking about dates to return next summer!

Wonderful experience

This house if fabulous and the owner is wonderful to deal with. The newly renovated kitchen is amazing. The three master suites suited our family perfectly. The kids loved the large bunk room upstairs and the abundance of toys. The pool is wonderful, as well. All in all, the house exceeded our expectations and the owner was very responsive. We will be back!

A wonderful and relaxing weekend

We loved everything about our stay. The house was excellent. The layout was perfect for children and adults and the house was very well stocked. The grounds were amazing and the use of the gold cart was a bonus! The pool area was very well maintained and the pool itself was gorgeous and the perfect temperature. The house is very well located and is just a few minutes drive to a supermarket, coffee shop, bakery and wine shop. Everything is on your doorstep. Communication with the owner was efficient and helpful. We are really looking forward to staying here again.

Hillside Lake Property best VRBO in Hudson Valley

First of all this property was totally spotless when we arrived. Every bathroom sparkled, every bedroom smelled clean, the kitchen too was spotless like every other room, something the owners take seriously. The location of the property is esthetically beautiful and quiet, surrounded by a large field for dogs and kids to run off energy, woods that allowed for glimpses of playful fox kits and an occasional deer. There's a lot privacy amongst its many acres. The property's long driveway allows for children to ride bikes and scooters, shoot hoops and fly kites in the field. We loved Hopewell Junction with its rural feel and many local interests in Dutchess County. Ling was very attentive and responsive to all my questions at every turn. The House itself is interesting in design and stunningly beautiful inside. Great care was taken to preserve old beams and floors from the original structure. The design flow inside is perfect for multigenerational families. The huge master bedroom with its kingsize bed, lots of light, and fully updated marble shower with many amenities was fully appreciated. Grandma and Grandpa loved the fact it allowed for quiet from the hub of activity when needed. Other family members loved bedrooms with queen size beds and private ensuite bathrooms. The upstairs playroom was filled with toys that our grandchildren loved. They felt very safe sleeping in the pink room upstairs with mom and dad at bottom of stairs. The large main living room allowed for everyone to sit at day's end and enjoy each others company. The house and the kitchen is the best stocked VRBO we've stayed, and we've stayed in many. Our family loves to cook and this kitchen was not only more than fully stocked, the layout allowed for adults to work and converse together while prepping meals which was awesome! The dining room had plenty of space to move from kitchen to table and back. The counter space in the kitchen was more than sufficient to hold groceries and miscellaneous items we brought. There are plenty of outlets throughout the house for charging phones and electronics. I must also comment on the outdoor center of summer excitement, the most amazing outdoor pool a VRBO could have which was super clean. Adults loved it too! The two decks and umbrellas were enjoyed immensely each day. We're grateful to have found this VRBO, and decided to make it our yearly vacation home moving forward, we're all thrilled!

Wedding House

This was the perfect family house as we gathered for my daughter’s wedding nearby. Grandkids loved the incredibly equipped 3rd floor, the video games, the pool, and riding the golf cart (with a parent). Fireflies galore—what a novelty since we don’t have them on the West coast! The comfort of this house was exceptional! And the owner was such a delight!

Great Space

My family wanted a space where we could be together, without being on top of each other, and we found that in this updated farmhouse. The heated pool was enjoyed very much (and Ling was able to have her maintenance contact turn up the temperature for us the very next morning following our request when the weather temperature took a dip). The upstairs blue bedroom with all the toys was also a big success with the toddlers. If my family looks to make this trip an annual one, I would not be surprised if we return to the farmhouse again. Any concerns we had were met with a sincere response from Ling about improving the property for future stays. There was some initial issue with the digital key access, but a few attempts later and we were in.

Rare gem that is even better than the pictures

Amazing place, lots to do for the whole family and dogs. Tons of toys for the kids and lots of adult/family games for the adults. Plus the great pool, just don't forget strong sunblock! This house has the best stocked kitchen of a vacation rental I've every seen. Plan for a morning with waffles, great waffle maker (make ahead batter w/yeast is the best). Also Zoe's ice cream barn is about 5 mins away and can't be missed. Ling was great with communication and able to answer any questions we had v quickly. Great find, hope we will be back!

Excellent family home

Everything is great about this property: good location for exploring Hudson River Valley, superb facility with lots of bedrooms and beds, great well-stocked kitchen, beautiful setting, nice swimming pool, supermarket close by. It is superlative in all categories. Works well for multiple families with lots of kids. Owner/manager is very responsive. I can't rate this more highly.

Just What we needed!

My family and I stayed at this property for 12 days and it was just perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space, location was in close proximity to stores, nice and quiet, clean, and plenty of toys for our 3 year old and so many fun games! Great home for a family

Not only is the house spacious, but the grounds are expansive. This is a large property in a quiet residential neighborhood. Ideal for a family reunion or a getaway with several couples. Conveniently located close to Newburgh, Poughkeepsie, and West Point.

Great house for a big family

The house was very clean. The bedding and towels were fabulous. Big pool. Kitchen was big enough for several people cooking at once. Livingroom big and comfortable for our entire extended family. Several of us had to work and there was enough room for all three of us to have an "office". We had a great time. Thank you Ling. We hope to return next year. This place has everything you need. Located close to major roads and yet feels secluded. Very clean with all the amenities you could ask for (heated pool, bikes, kites, golf cart, game room etc.). Beautiful Home

This home was very large and spacious. It was very clean and perfect for our family vacation. The pool was great and the home was location a very nice, quiet neighborhood.
