Wonderful luxury vacation condo in Shipyard on the golf course. Kitchen has been completely opened up with all new granite counters and new stainless steel appliances. Gorgeous hardwood floors thru out the condo, with new furniture in the living room and dining area. Walk out to the deck overlooking the golf and enjoy the view. Master Bedroom has king size bed with en suite full bath. Master bath has been updated with wonderful walk in shower. Guest room has double bed with twin bunk bed. Living room has fold out couch so condo can sleep eight people comfortably. Beach access is only minutes away on a shaded bike path or enjoy a nice walk to the beach too. Luxury at its finest in Shipyard near the beach. Your vacation rental includes bike rentals and beach gear with your stay. 145 The Greens in Shipyard is professionally managed and operated by Hilton Head Vacations, Inc, a locally owned company.

Shipyard has 27 holes of golf to enjoy and miles of shaded bike paths. Beach access is a short walk from the Greens or an easy bike ride. One problem away from five stars

I REALLY wanted to give a five star review… but. First of all, check in was smooth, Robert the property manager was on point with communication and fixing any small issues and answering any questions and overall this updated property was perfect for our needs. The ONLY issue was the mattress in the second bedroom. It was ridiculous. The owner was contacted but there was no resolution. My daughter and her husband got zero rest. They ended up leaving two days early. A property that is advertised to be a luxury resort should put the sleeping comfort of clients at the very top of its priorities. Our family had two other condos at The Greens and we did have a wonderful week at HHI!

Hilton Head

We love Hilton Head and have been going there since the 90s. The condo was great, and Robert was very responsive. I just wish it was cleaner especially considering we paid a cleaning fee and I spent an hour cleaning the place after we got there.

We keep coming back

It’s our second time at this place 5th time in Shipyard. We love this place for our family. We have 4 kids under 5 and my parents stayed with us as well. It’s a short walk to the beach no need for bikes. But in all we love it at this place. Could get a newer couch if I had to comment on anything but the one they had did the job. Thanks for having us back and we will see you again soon I’m sure of it!

Beach house with out beach gear

The unit was clean and nice, but I would not describe it as “luxury”. We have stayed in that area before, and like the close proximity to the beach and the pool and have no complaints about the location. The rental agency did a great job responding quickly to a broken faucet, and we appreciated that. We were not happy about the inaccurate listing (that changed after we booked) and information that was given before we booked the unit. For example, we asked the owner about beach items and he told us he was working on getting them. We explained we were flying to HHI this year, and it would be difficult to bring items. After we booked the unit, we followed up prior to our visit and were told he was not getting items and we could go to Walmart and buy them. There was a rusty old cart and an outdoor storage box filled with wet musty items. This unit did not have any usable beach gear nor beach towels, which added expense and inconvenience to our trip. A “luxury” beach house, or any beach unit should have some beach gear or at least be upfront in the listing for it. We will not stay at this unit again due to the dishonesty and inaccurate description. We always make wonderful memories at the beach, and still had a great vacation.

Nice place, good location, but some updates needed

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Overall the place was clean and the check in process was easy. The location is top notch and is closer to the beach than I thought. The location was well equipped. The only issue we had really was the place was a little outdated and it was starting to show some wear and tear. The bed sheets were old and dingy and had stains. We requested new sheets and it took 24 hours to get them. Mgmt was good with communication. Seems like the place needs a little TLC and it’d be 5 stars

Great Unit

I rated the cleanliness a 5 because the unit as a whole was great. There were some housekeeping issues upon arrival but the host was easy to reach and he was quick to respond. The issue was taken care immediately. The a/c went out and the host once again was quick to respond and we had it fixed with in an hour. I would recommend this unit and would definitely stay again! We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Enjoyable

Had a great stay on the Island. Good location snd a nice clean rental. Master bedroom mattress was something to be desired. Parking was not always in front of the unit, had to park in the next units parking a few times. Overall a nice rental.

Sweet and perfect condo for HH fun!

This is my second stay at this unit. I was thrilled that it was as perfect as I remembered! Clean, updated and comfortable for my family of 5. Easy walk to the beach and pool, great golfing too! Thank you for another good year of sunshine, sand and family time!

Great location!

We stayed at The Greens with our three boys - it was well equipped with everything we needed and our boys enjoyed being together. I liked that there was an upstairs for separation of space. The unit had lots of extras (gates, bed rails, beach chairs, etc) which we didn't need but I found was nice to provide guests. Great location, a short walk to the beach. We biked but may have been the same time to walk by the time we loaded everything up and locked the bikes. We would consider staying here again, but next year we would like to travel with our dog which is not possible at this property.

The location of this unit is absolutely perfect. If you’re a family of 3-6 the space is great! BUT: 1. The bed in the second bedroom is horribly uncomfortable. Like a fold out mattress. The sheets are so worn they are like sandpaper. We went to Walmart to buy more. There are no pillow cases for the spare pillows and the pillows available are awful. So bring your own bedding if you’re picky. 2. There is no cooking devices. The pans available are all dirty, ruined and unusable. Some of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty too. 3. There is no doing laundry while you sleep. The washer sounds like a dead animal is dying inside and the dryer barely dries. 4. There is no where to put up your feet. No footstools etc. and the couches are super warn down. 5. Seating outside requires pillows but none provided. The chairs literally have holes. The location and decor are great but the things that are missing are a real setback.

Great Condo + Great Location

The condo was perfect for us and we had a lovely stay. Nice open floor plan on the main floor + two nice sized bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. Location was very convenient to the beach - both walking and biking. We appreciated being centrally located to so many places and biked to locations all over the island. We were able to store our bikes easily on the front patio. The pool area was very nice and quiet - a great place to take a book and relax for a bit in the sun or in the shade. A great place overall!
