The Space:

Welcome to Black Oak Brake! The brick stairway, expansive front yard and circular drive make for a regal and private entrance. As you enter the cabin you’ll find a spacious living space with a gas fireplace. The couch is large and comfortable with more than enough seating for 8 and overlooks the trees and beautiful surroundings outside. Entering the kitchen you'll find a gorgeous wood burning fireplace, dining area and seating to hangout and relax. Just past the kitchen you will find a large dining room filled with sunlight and a gas fireplace to make your family dinners even more magical and peaceful. Relax on screened in porch with a ceiling fan, comfortable seating and a propane grill on the adjoining balcony.

Our cabin is located in The Woods Resort, a private community with an 18-hole golf course (with low green fees), spa, a restaurant and pub, and miles of walking/hiking trails. It’s considered the best course in the area, and the pub food is pretty great too!



During your stay, you'll have access to the members-only Sports Center, the perfect option for a wintery or rainy day (and just a 5 minute walk from the cabin). The Sports Center includes:



- Indoor heated swimming pool

- Large whirlpool

- Tennis court

- Racquetball court

- Multi-purpose court for volleyball and basketball

- Fully equipped exercise room with free-weights and many workout machines



The Sports Center is members-only, but we’ve set aside complimentary guest passes just for you! Passes will be available at the property—check the house manual for details on where to find them. If you need more during your stay, simply reach out and we’ll be happy to assist.



Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!
