history of Dimora Antico Frantoio, in the liveliest heart of the small
and industrious community of Guagnano, in Upper Salento.
The
ancient dwelling is developed in rooms completely renovated and equipped
with every comfort, which chaining each other envelop the garden, now transformed into a true oasis thanks to the beautiful pool, solarium and lounges: the perfect place to spend pleasant days of quiet in total privacy.
From
the entrance of the exclusive vacation home start the left and right
wings of the residence, elegantly furnished and cared for down to the
smallest detail,
In the left wing, an air-conditioned living room leads to two bedrooms: 1 bedroom with French bed and en suite shower room, 1 double with round king-size bed, air conditioning, in-room sauna, shower room, Turkish bath and emotional shower. This room has direct exit to the pool.
The right wing opens with an air-conditioned living room, furnished with sofas and round ottomans.
Past the entrance, frontally unfolds the rest of the dwelling. A large living room furnished with a sitting area overlooks the garden and pool area. From here a hallway leads to the remaining sleeping area: 1 double bedroom and 1 with French bed, both air-conditioned and with en suite shower room.
A second smaller living room , equipped with TV, fireplace and air conditioning, is connected to the well-equipped eat-in kitchen and laundry area. From the laundry area there is a large garage with antique wooden door, in which there is a full shower room.
Finally, there is the ancientoil mill that gives its name to the dwelling,
a place of enveloping charm that preserves its original features
intact. The oil mill, now a pleasant living room with sofas and
relaxation areas under mighty vaulted ceilings, overlooks the garden
with swimming pool and provides the outdoor area with an additional
bathroom, equipped with a sink and toilet.
Available to guests, just 10 meters from the dwelling, there is a second garage that offers two additional parking spaces if necessary.

The large abode for fairy-tale vacations in Salento is located in the heart of Guagnano,
a stone`s throw from the mother church and all the main services.
Guagnano, renowned for its vines and table grapes, is an industrious and
welcoming village, and every summer it holds an important festival
dedicated to Negroamaro.
From Guagnano, in a few minutes by car, you can reach both the city of Lecce with its Baroque wonders, shopping streets and ancient craft stores, and the beautiful beaches of the Ionian Upper Salento, such as Torre Lapillo, Porto Cesareo and San Pietro in Bevagna. 


- After reservation, you can fix check-in (from 4pm to 8pm) and check-out (from 8.30 am to 10am). An extra payment of euro 50 is required for late check-in upon request (from 8pm to 12am).
- Upon your arrival you will be required to sign the tourism contract written in Italian language.
- The tourist tax, WHERE APPLICABLE,is not included in the price and will be applied according to the municipal regulations.
- Bed linen/towels optional rental: price is euro 20 per person per week.
- Pool available from May to October.
- It is MANDATORY to sort and dispose the waste. If not, it will be withheld penalty fee of 80 euro for up to 10 kg of waste + 50 euro for each additional kg.
- It is MANDATORY to leave the stove and cutlery clean (service not included in the price of final cleaning). If not, it will be withheld a penalty fee of 40 euro.
- One of  the six bathrooms is a simple service toilet.
