Oceanfront Paradise

The Tropical Island Hacienda provided an absolutely stunning experience for our family! All of the details were exceptional from the hot tub and pool to the gameroom downstairs. The stewards of the property were warm and welcoming and went out of their way to help us have an amazing vacation. The owner was available, responsive, and truly cared about our experience. I couldn't recommend this property more for those looking to establish a yearly destination to make the memories of a lifetime!

Beautiful location, view and home

We had the best stay at the Tropical Island Hacienda. We had our family stay for the week and we enjoyed everything there was to do! The home offered a beautiful pool and hot tub which the temperatures of each were perfect! The kids loved all the sea creatures off the seawall. We saw dolphins and starfish right off the dock. We loved walking across the street and enjoyed the beautiful beach. The home had everything we needed including a beach wagon, chairs, coolers and some sand toys. We really enjoyed watching all the boat traffic as well. We could watch the Key West express, Pirate Ship and the many tub boats. The home was immaculate in every corner including the grill and the kitchen had every tool and appliance we needed! We could walk up to Times Square to the shops and restaurants. We didn’t need to fight the traffic or find a parking space. We hope to return as it has been our favorite!! Thank you to the host for sharing it with us and thank you to the manager for his response!

FMB is slowly coming back, but this house is already back and better than ever.

I can’t say enough great things about the accommodations of this house along with the ease of working with the owners. The house was spectacular from the views of the bay, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedding, and a pool area perfect for adults, active kids and toddlers. The beach was an easy walk and the house sand cart made hauling beach supplies a breeze. The proximity to downtown made for easy walks to ice cream and bike rides to the farmers market. Dolphins were seen daily from the porch but it was fun to try and get even closer using the house kayak/SUP boards. The owners were so kind, very responsive, and keep the home in perfect condition. Their attention to detail made this property not just a beautiful home but a location to create many memories and making our stay the most enjoyable. I have rented this house twice now and it will not be our last!

Beautiful property with many amenities!

This home has everything you need for a large group. We loved the location, it was perfect! The home was very clean and we lacked for nothing to do. The caretaker; Butch, went above and beyond to help with any of our needs. This house is a gem!

Thanksgiving week family trip

Pictures and other reviews on target! The view of the boats traveling in and out of the harbor were great watching out on the decks day and night. Butch was awesome, as others have also noted. Walk to the beach or Times Square. We had days out and about but the time spent at the property were enjoyable and stress free. All in group give kudos!

Family Spring Break

This was an outstanding trip! The house was incredible for a group of 9. The views from the balconies were spectacular and we really enjoyed the pool and the beach. The property manager, Butch, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The house was spacious, clean and beautiful, even better than the pictures online!

Great House in Ft Myers

Views of the water were our number one favorite aspect of the house followed quickly by the pool and hot tub. Great set up and very short walk to the beach. Lots of beach equipment and wagons to get everything to the beach was great, especially because we had a 9, 6 and 3 yr old. Kitchen and grill were amazing. We cooked almost every night and had everything we needed. Bonus was a professional stand mixer that we used to make homemade chocolate chip cookies that turned out fantastic. Loved seeing the dolphins and all the amazing sea birds.

Perfect place

Great time, great place. It had something for everyone. My son fished a lot on property and did rather well. The girls loved the pool, hot tub and bikes that were provided. I loved the boat traffic from the balcony, pool and hot tub. I also loved the idea of not getting into a car for the entire week. We walked everywhere. We had great weather, so we barely used the game room. Butch was great, he was there if you needed him and had some great advice. Thank you for a great week. We were there for Thanksgiving week.

Great stay!

A little piece of heaven

We had five couples staying for a week. There is room for more, plenty of room. This house is Fabulous!! No complaints. Butch, the house manager is so very helpful; helped with the kayaks, elevator, he even helped to catch fish bait. Anything we asked of him, he was there. Not only did Butch make sure we were happy, the homeowner reached out as well. Everything is here, cannot think of one thing they dont supply. The dolphins and the manatees play right outside the home. Enjoy your stay, you will not be disappointed.

Paradise in Ft Myers Beach

Amazing Property and Location

This Home and property will not disappoint. Our family had an amazing time and Butch made us feel very comfortable. Already looking forward to returning. The home is well stocked and most of the items you may think you need to bring are already there. Don’t hesitate on booking this one!

Gorgeous Home!

We spent a week at this lovely home at the end of March with another family. It’s definately spacious enough for 2 or 3 families! The home and property manager, Butch, greeted us and gave us a tour and information on all we needed to know about how to use the things in the house and also the pool/hot tub. He was so helpful and friendly and even offered to round up extra bikes for us! He was only a phone call away for any questions we may have had during our stay. The home is stunning, very well-kept and clean. The main living room and kitchen area has a floor to ceiling sliding glass front that opens up to the lanai overlooking the bay. The top of the line kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could ever need. There is an abundance of bath towels and pool towels to use. The pool and hot tub area is beautiful and sits right at the edge of the bay for amazing views. The location of this home is perfect! It’s a very short walk to the beach, Time Square, and many, many restaurants. The use of the bikes that are kept at the house makes getting around even easier! We loved our time there and would definately recommend this home. Butch will take great care of you!

Awesome rental. Family wants to come again.

Awesome family vacation for the nine of us. It exceeded our expectations. Location was perfect. Family enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. The kitchen was made for a chef. It would match the best in the world. Got to see dolphins everyday. The pool and hot tub were fabulous. The elevator was a bonus for me. Our ages ranged from 3 to 74 and there was something for all of us. Their living room chair for 2 was the biggest hit.

Tropical Island Hacienda is EVERYTHING YOU WOULD EVER WANT in a vacation home!

Our group of 5 couples LOVED THIS HOUSE! All FIVE bedrooms have king beds, which you never find in a large vacation rental home. When you enter the home on the ground floor, there is a staircase, elevator and game room. The elevator was extremely helpful bringing luggage to the upper floors. Hopefully you will have beautiful, sunny weather like we did and won't need the game room, but if you do, pinball, Pac-Man, air hockey, and a shuffleboard table are there to pass the time. Large sliding glass doors open to the pool / hot tub area, which is beautifully landscaped. On the second floor, two bedrooms share a Jack-n-Jill bath with shower and a third bedroom has a private bath. There is also a powder room on this floor in addition to the large laundry with beach towels, office alcove, open kitchen, dining and main living room area. This area is surrounded by sliding glass walls that open to a huge deck with a fabulous view. From this deck, you can access the spiral staircase that leads to the ground level pool and hot tub. The kitchen has upscale appliances, including a large ice maker built-in to the cabinetry, a Keurig and a fun Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville machine. There is a huge pantry! You may want to check in to the house before you go to the store. There were lots of spices, olive oil, foil, etc that previous guests left and we didn't have to buy. On the third floor, two bedrooms each have a private bath with a spectacular view and a shared deck. There is a large wine fridge on this floor as well. * Times Square for shopping / dining and the beach are an easy walk from here. *House manager, Butch, met us at check in with a very helpful house tour. Explained the elevator, hot tub controls and many other ins and outs of the house. He was always available by phone and checked on us frequently. If you need it, just ask Butch! *Be prepared to wait in traffic when driving. Let folks in from the side streets, after all, you aren't going anywhere fast! *Restaurants we liked: Doc Ford's Rum Bar and Grille. Sit on the lower deck for happy hour.
