A blissful Cape Cod vacation awaits at this 3BR home on Eastham's Saltwater Town Cove. Bring your boat, kayak, or paddleboard for direct access to Nauset Inlet and the Outer Beach, or relax on the sunny dock for some of the Cape's best fishing.

Newly remodeled with an open layout and beautiful new kitchen, your crew will love the indoor/outdoor living. The huge deck is the perfect spot for alfresco dinners, sunbathing, or simply enjoying the view.

ABOUT THE HOUSE

Two living rooms, an expansive deck, and three peaceful bedrooms offer plenty of indoor and outdoor space for six guests to relax and unwind on Saltwater Town Cove.

Hardwood floors shine on the ground floor, where you'll find the open concept living, dining, and kitchen area, plus the three bedrooms. The living room offers ample seating on multiple couches and chairs, elegant ocean-themed artwork, and a beautiful area rug with a nautical sensibility. Natural light pours in through a row of skylights, and two AC units add comfort. Kick back and watch shows on the 54” flat-screen TV.

The window-lined dining area seats eight, and the newly remodeled kitchen is a dream to cook in. Highlights include a double-door fridge, recessed lighting, tile floors, and dishwasher. Brew a fresh cup and sit down with the paper at a breakfast bar with four stools.

Enjoy the ocean breeze on the expansive deck, the perfect spot to watch the sunrise over the water or to grill up savory bites. A dining table for six lets you accompany every meal with the picturesque view, and there's plenty more seating for naps in the sun and vacation reading. The lush green lawn rolls down to the waterline, where a dock awaits for your boat, kayak, or paddleboard.

The downstairs living room is perfect for games or movie marathons. Sit down for an evening of card games at a round table for four, or catch a movie on the 45” TV. The room is also equipped with two queen sleeper sofas, a small fridge, and a microwave. Stunning cove views can be seen through big windows.

Each of the three bedrooms comes with their own AC unit. The master bedroom features a king bed and a 39” TV, the second bedroom is a queen, and the third has two twin beds.

The shared bathroom on the ground level has a peach color palette, intricate tile work, and a walk-in shower. The lower-level bathroom also boasts a walk-in shower.

Extras at the property include driveway parking for three cars, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, and an outdoor shower.

THE LOCATION

The spectacular National Seashore beaches begin 4 miles away, with the calmer bay waters lapping a half-mile closer.

Head to Eastham's Friendly Fisherman, or dine at famous Orleans eateries The Knack and Big Dog's BBQ, just over 1 mile away; pick up fresh seafood to grill at Nauset Fish & Lobster Pool, a few blocks beyond.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Cape Cod great location

Stayed with my sisters. Beautiful location and views off back deck. House was clean, kitchen had lots of dishes etc. Beds were ok- linens could be upgraded. We could never get the back sliders locked- followed directions. But it’s a great place and would go back again.

Has potential for a great stay

Pros: 1. View of the water was amazing. Every morning was peaceful and beautiful. 2. The deck was probably the best part of the house. 3. Newly remodeled and clean/bright home. Lots of windows which I really love. 4. Lots of space, maybe even too much space for our family of 4. There are 3 living areas and we only used 1. Cons: 1. The internet connection isn't great and when we arrived (after driving 8 hours) we had to spend the first 1+ hours trying to figure out how to watch TV (cable wasn't working). 2. The home lacks a personal touch (it's managed by a corporation) and we felt the cost-cutting. They only provided a "starter kit" of household supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and dishwashing soap. When we ran out, we were told that we are responsible for getting more on our own dime. After many years of visiting Cape Cod, this is the first home that didn't supply enough of the basics. 3. The beds are very uncomfortable and squeaky. Every time we moved while sleeping, the noise woke us all up which resulted in a lack of sleep. 4. Last, the backyard is a nice space and our boys were looking forward to playing frisbee outside but, unfortunately, the geese really loved to visit which resulted in a yard full of droppings. The boys never played in the yard.

Serene stay on Cove

Bright, modern and lovely! We loved waking up to the views of the Cove each morning! The house had plenty of room for family and the younger family members loved the downstairs level! I would definitely stay again!

Great house in a great location!

The house was amazingly clean, and the location was perfect, not far from anything in all directions. The property is serene and you could spend all day at the house just relaxing. Well worth renting. Supplies at the house are a bit thin, but that did not detract from anything at all.

Great house and location-problems with VACASA

The house is perfect- everything you could hope for in terms of view, neighborhood and amenities. However in trying to resolve problems with the local managing agent such as overflowing garbage bin that was not picked up, burned out lamps…they were unresponsive and required contacting them several times over the course of many days. This service is being paid for by owners and renters and it really was not up to par, causing me to knock the rating down from 5 stars to 4 stars.

Great Location

We stay on Cape Cod every October, and absolutely loved this location, a peaceful spot that's an easy drive to both Orleans and Wellfleet. The house has direct frontage on a tidal inlet, which offers spectacular views. The house itself is another matter. The public spaces: living room, dining room and kitchen, were very nice, but the kitchen was poorly equipped. The minimum necessary pots & pans are available, while glassware is limited. While there was evidence of a drip coffee maker, (filters) none was available. They did have a Keurig. The bedrooms are a weak point. The "master" bedroom is a converted former living room and has no closet. The nearest hallway closet did not have a bar to hang clothes. Another bedroom had a small closet which might be difficult to use. On the main floor, the three bedrooms shared one bath that has been nicely updated. The home's second bath is on the lower level. The lower floor was perfect for teenagers. Sorry to say that the problematic aspects of the house offset for us the fantastic view that this house offers.

Great location and all the comforts for family

We stayed for a week at the end of I stayed here with my family of 4 in Aug of 2022. The house is located on the end of a quiet private street right on Town Cove that has fantastic views of the water and a water access. The inside of the house is well appointed and seemingly newly renovated with beautiful kitchen and dining area that looks out at the cove, hang out room for family nights, a funky furnished downstairs with foosball, arcade game and more hangout space. The beds were all comfortable and all the spaces were very clean. And the large deck off the main floor is great space to take in views of cove as well. As for location on the cape, its proximity to Orealans ad Wellfleet made for many easy outings. It's not much further to Province town for trips there. We felt a bit spoiled with the luxuries of the house and easy access to all. My only mild complaint is making a left turn onto rt 6 can be a little intimidating as traffic flow there was constant and fast.

Wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay at Island Bay Bungalow. The location is terrific. Right on the water. Quiet. Beautiful daylight throughout the day. The home was spacious and had a good layout for our needs. The house was nice. Could use a bit of TLC here and there. The mattresses and some of the chairs are a bit uncomfortable, but that said I would stay there again. Sitting on the deck or taking a kayak out on the water is really magical. Thank you for having us.

Beautiful House on Water

Great location and house, very comfortable and would certainly recommend. Only issue was check in. We received an email at 1:30 telling us the house was ready for arrival. Arrived at 3:30 and code would not work. Called owner who unsuccessfully tried to reset but was unable to do so. As a result we waited until 4:00 to gain access. A minor point, coffee pot is keurig one cup pods. Would have been fine if we knew ahead of time, but not knowing it required an extra trip to the market.

Gorgeous view and house!

Very clean and renovated home. Very comfortable and spacious for 6 of us. View of the cove was remarkable and access to the water for kayaking/paddleboarding was super convenient. Only small point was that the house wasn't stocked up as much as we have been used to with previous rentals. Only a few garbage bags and one extra toilet paper roll was provided. Not enough dish detergent as well as a few packets of dishwasher packets. Other than that our time at this home was wonderful and one of our most memorable stays in Eastham.

Great location for kayaking

Great location for a busy family. Easy to launch kayaks and go on trips out to Nauset beach. Recently updated / finished basement adds another bathroom and additional space for the kids.

Eastham stay

Wonderful home, lovely view, fun day trips, helpful property managers, happy family! For families with younger children: the cove can be quite windy with strong currents. We brought connectable lounge floating water tubes with us, along with a climbing rope to attach to the dock, enabling us to safely enjoy being on the water all together in the afternoons. Dreamy!

Amazing House in Prime location

The headline: Beautiful house in great location fulfills perfect family vacation. We were further surprised to find the basement had been completely finished including a second full bathroom. The weather was perfect so we thoroughly enjoyed the bright open interior and coffee-with-a-view on the deck. Our critiques are small and did not affect the quality of our stay. The dishwasher would not work but the property manager quickly helped fix this. The coffee maker is a single serve so we brought our own (thanks previous reviewer) We were asked to keep guests to 6 max. This seems rather limiting for such a large house. The property is costly but it ticked all of the boxes for our perfect Cape Vacation. YOLO! Cheers!

Eastham COVID break

the house was as advertised; with nice views and accessibility to Cape Cod attractions. A used face mask on the floor on arrival earned an unacceptable housekeeping rating. Kitchenware could do with improvement. A single serve French Press or K-cup dispenser for coffee in a property advertised for 6 people needs to be remedied.
