This happy getaway has three large bedrooms and two baths: a king bed in the primary with en suite bath, two guest rooms with queen beds, one of the queen rooms is further up-fitted with a set of bunk beds for family-friendly sleeping arrangements. The expansive kitchen has been recently remodeled and is stocked with everything that you will need for your stay. Just off of the kitchen/living room is a bright four-season sunroom that overlooks the water. This idyllic room includes a cozy daybed which is a great place to kick back, read a book or catch a nap, a writing desk for anyone needing to check in with work, and a relaxing rocking chair that provides the perfect place to take in the beauty of the surroundings.! It's also a great place to hang out and play board games or cards!  Total accommodation is nine people.  
Step outside on the lakeside deck where you are all set to grill your favorite meals on the gas BBQ. Follow an enchanted, gently winding path that leads to a lighted fire pit by the water! The beautiful boat house has plenty of seating and includes kayaks, a paddle boat, hammock, dining space, and more! The spacious yard area is perfect for group play or a rousing game of cornhole! You are more than welcome to bring your own pontoon to tie off at the dock. If you are in need of a rental boat, we can recommend several boat rental companies in the area.  
Water depth at the dock is 2-3 feet. This home is perfect for kayaking, floating or fishing, but not for jumping off or swimming by the dock. For swimming and jumping into the lake, you’ll want to walk or drive a couple minutes to a great community area with a sandy beach, a slide into the lake, basketball courts, and a playground for kids. The neighborhood country club also offers a swimming pool, tennis/pickleball courts and an 18-hole golf course - all just a couple minutes away and available for a few dollars.
Conveniently located within 5-10 minutes you’ll find:
-Rosemont Winery where you can enjoy a glass of their award winning wine, savor the views, shop their gift store or browse their extensive local arts and crafts gallery!
-Poplar Point Marina featuring the ever popular Shady Shack Grill and Lakeside Bar featuring breathtaking views, drive or boat over to delicious food and drinks, friendly service, and local live music. 
-Holly Grove Marina, famous for their unbelievably generous scoops of ice cream. They also sell bait and tackle, gas, and snacks. 
This little piece of heaven is just the right spot to relax and recharge!
Within 20 minutes you can access:
-Food Lion supermarket
-Walmart Superstore
-South Hill, VA or Littleton, NC both with lots of cute restaurants and shops

Booking Notes:  
1. At checkout Airbnb combines the fees for cleaning, Covid compliant linens (packaging and delivery) and their administrative fees into the single line item of "Required Fees."
3. This house has high speed internet available. Please bring your own streaming devices, account info (Netflix, Prime, Disney +, Etc.) and accessories to utilize these services.

To get you started...

Each bathroom has a roll of septic-friendly toilet tissue as a starter. You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.

The kitchens are stocked with one roll of paper towels, one trash bag for the kitchen trashcan, trial-size dish soap, two dishwasher pods and 1 sponge.  You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.

A few more tid-bits...  :)

1.  Pets are welcome!  Pets must be well-behaved dogs only! Sorry, no cats or other pets allowed! Additionally, we reserve the right to restrict the number of dogs and/or certain breeds of dogs. Guest must sign the Pet Policy Addendum and have prior written approval for each dog that you will bring. All pets must be housebroken, treated for fleas and up-to-date on all vaccinations prior to the stay. The non-refundable pet fee is $250. 

2.  Septic Safety:  The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system.  This system is a finely balanced biological system.  Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper.  Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.

3.  Boat Tips: Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves.  Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boat.(make sure to bring your bumpers!).

4.  Culverts & Bridges:  Be sure to lower your bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts.  Appearances can be deceiving!

5. Security Camera Disclosure:  We take your privacy very seriously.  However, this home may be monitored by exterior security cameras.  The cameras do not record sound.  Please let us know if this is an issue with your party for any reason.

6. Trash Service:  Trash service is concierge based, which means that when you need trash service just call management, and we will send the team over to pick it up!  .

7. Boat Lift:  Quick note here for our boaters...the lifts are NOT available, but you can tie off at the dock.
