Relax in front of a real log burning fireplace on luxurious leather sofas. Entertaining is easy with open dining, kitchen and Living spaces on the Main Floor that are open to the majestic mountain views from each room. Enjoy the professional kitchen with all necessary cooking amenities, granite countertops and Stainless steel appliances. The dining Room sits six with three additional seats at the large island so it’s a great place for family and holiday gatherings. There is a high end stainless steel Wilmington gas grill just outside the dining room.

The Master Bedroom on the Main Floor has a large walk in closet and adjoining bath. The bedroom is a private and peaceful retreat. It has luxurious linens and state of the art noise reduction windows. The large laundry room has additional workspace for doing projects or providing a working vacation space suitable for lap top computer work. The furniture and bedding are comfortable and luxurious. We have used only the best in terms of materials with beautiful real stone, oak trim and hardwood floors throughout. The baths are spa like in feel with hand scraped recycled wood sink vanities and tile floors.

The upstairs includes one bedroom and bath.
The amazing view can be seen from the upstairs balcony. You will want to spend a lot of time there. You will want to entertain in the upstairs area as there is a full size home office with a view, a pub table for playing cards and a sitting area that doubles as a third bedroom with sleep sofa and a twin size bed. There is a second flat screen TV so that you can watch the game or have the children watch their favorite shows.

Bird watching is a great pastime while sipping your morning coffee from the Covered Porch right off the Living Room and enjoying the private fenced in back yard. Your furry friends will safely enjoy being a part of your family with access from the yard up to the porch. Take in the views of Grandfather Mountain at sunset from the comfort of your Adirondack chair, around the state of the art wood burning Solos fire pit.

It is truly a Luxury mountain experience and boasts of a very deep and accessible back yard overlooking the views with a stone patio repurposed from the Elkstone that is the indigenous to Blowing Rock. Relax on the patio and take in the cool Mountain air looking towards Grandfather mountain.

Walk to town. We are located just across from the Blowing Rock Country Club with many great restaurants just minutes away. Our neighbors are terrific and kind and our house has great privacy with large mature trees and shrubs.

The best way to get around is to drive. Uber has just come to town as well. There are many hiking trails nearby many of which are just outside the village or along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

My husband and I currently live just outside of Blowing Rock. We love the mountains and love to hike, ride motorcycles and just enjoy the view. We want to introduce other people to this wonderful place. I am an interior designer by trade and have worked in the building industry and the furniture industry for years. It comes natural to me to create beautiful spaces for people to live.
Blowing Rock and the mountains of North Carolina have a special place in my heart. It is an intensely spiritual place and being of Native American heritage, I find that I am at peace here. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I have lived in North Carolina all my life but I didn't move here until 2001. It took me that long to get to Gods country!
