Tiny House Lyrides by the cretan sea

Tiny House Lyrides is a charming home located right next to the Sea of Crete along the north and East coast of the island, providing visitors a unique scenery of pure nature and peacefulness. In between the rocky mountains and the Cretan Sea and right below the clear sky, visitors can admire the beauties of an untouched landscape, during the sunrise, sunset and the starry night, as its name "Lyrides" suggests, from the spring shower of shooting stars.
Tiny house Lyrides is located across the north and south coastline of the Sea of Crete, right next to the rocky beach of Anogia. It is just an hour and 10 minutes ride from Heraklion Airport (71 km) and an hour and 20 minutes ride from Heraklion city center (74 km). The route consists of an easy 30 minute drive through the North motorway of Crete, Voak, and continues throught the provincial road of Sissy, crossing through the small but picturesque villages of the area. There are many old rural houses in the area where many years ago the farmers used to live in the summer and watching the shooting stars they gave the area its name, "Lyrides".
Through the last kilometres of the route, the road becomes narrow with turns at some points, but driving in a low speed will give you the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature that you will come across as the portrait of the mountain, the sea and the blue sky will alternate.
Just at the top of the mountain cliff, from where the road path to the Tiny House (about 3 km) starts, the visitors will be amazed by the breathtaking view of the coastline.
In the area you can explore and see many types of Cretan plants, shrubs and therapeutic botanicals. You will also see sheep and goats and see how they are breeding. There are nearby gorges if you want to visit and unique rocks from rivers which are now inactive. The sea to the right and left of the house's plot is separated by two gulf beaches where you can easily swim. Many different species of birds and fish live in the area as you might come across. The sea water is clear and gives you the opportunity to explore by snorkeling if you wish.
The Tiny House is located in an enchanting fenced plot just in front of the sea. The accommodation provides all the facilities you will need to enjoy while on vacation. Up to 6 people can be accommodated in the "Tiny House Lyrides". It offers five beds and a sofa that turns into a bed, in the living room. It offers kitchen equipment, a gas stove and refrigerator as well as lighting with solar energy as there is no electricity in the area. There is WiFi internet provided but there is a limitation in MB consumption due to the lack of network connectivity in the area.

The house has an equipped bathroom with a shower. Outside, the fenced area has many trees that offer coolness in the summer. Also, there is a ping pong table on the plot you can enjoy. In overall, as you can see in the provided photos, the landscape from above looks like an oasis in the area, which you can enjoy through a unique vacation experience in tranquility, harmony and nature exploration

In Neapoli, a 35 minute drive (about 17km) from the Tiny House "Lyrides" you can find a supermarket, grocery store and shops. You can also visit Neapolis traditional town and some attractions. There are also tavern restaurants and coffee shops. You can find similar shops in the traditional and touristic villages of Milatos, a 25 minute drive (12 km) and Sisi, a 40 minute drive (17 km) from the accommodation.
