"This apartment in a wonderful location could be a real winner. Sadly, it is neglected, quite dirty and in desperate need of an update. Broken furniture, broken fixtures and most of all,..... a 3rd floor residence with no fire escape and a smoke alarm that DOES NOT WORK...!!!! No excuse... get a new battery..! Such a pity as this location is really special. Communication prior to arrival was good, but payment details were disasterous... the host does not use VRBO for payment... just one more...

"This was the perfect place to stay for a few days and enjoy the D-Day Beaches. We loved that we could walk to Juno Beach. We enjoyed local restaurants for dinner and making breakfast ourselves. We felt very at home. "

"A perfect little house in a great location. Quite small all round, but all two people & a dog need for a short break. V easy to reach all of the D Day beaches & key sites. Bikes are available to use & it’s only a short cycle to the boulangerie in the morning. We had fantastic weather, so made good use of the outside space also. Florence met us on arrival & is a wonderful host. Would most definitely recommend 😎"

"You need to know where the rooms are; on the map, it looks right on the beach, and the rooms have sea views. However, when they say “Côté jardin”, it’s another building, a few doors down and across the street. If you get a room on the second floor, there is no elevator so be aware. These are just practical tips, don’t let it scare you away. The place was great, still mere metres from the beach, very clean, the breakfast was nice, the staff is excellent.
