Mackenzie-Child's is a manufacturer of ceramics and retailer of hand painted imported furniture. The sink and vanity top shown here was installed in their public restroom. There was additional ceramics throughout the restroom.
Harriet Tubman’s property still has the home for the elderly she created as well as the home she lived in. It’s something you can wander around and look at yourself, or pay $5 (this price may change in the future, I’m uncertain as the park is run by a museum but also partially by the NPS) to have a guide go through her history and then allow you to tour the home for the elderly. Just up the road, a few minutes drive away, you can also see her grave. The woman was amazing, that much is clear. #nationalparks #blackhistory
