«I had a very disappointing experience with the Holiday Rental Specialists at Jimmy's Homestead. When we arrived the house was in disgusting condition - dead insects, spiders and hairs throughout many bathrooms (see photos). I don't think it had been cleaned in weeks. Having spent nearly $6000 for the weekend, my group and I were appalled (and I was very embarrassed having booked it for the group). «A beautiful property in a lovely rural setting. So peaceful! Excellent amenities with electric radiators and electric blankets in each bedroom and ample firewood provided. Coffee pods and complimentary chocolates were a nice touch too. Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of cooking pans and utensils. Staying in winter was chilly but the supplied heaters were definitely effective and the beds toasty. The views were absolutely beautiful. «The hosts Belinda & Mark were wonderful. I hiked to the cottage and needed help getting provisions and a lift to the highway next day. The "tiny" cottage was modern, light and lots of fun. It had everything and I had fun, but using the tiny kitchen was a juggling exercise. If only the trailer was just 1 meter longer, it would have enabled a reasonable amount of kitchen bench space and a bench to place and use baggage. The 'tiny' dining suite was just too small and seats were uncomfortable.  ...

«Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kathleen and Ken’s property. They’re honestly the most lovely, welcoming people. Even without the lure of the farm, they’re enough to make you want to come back again. The farm is awesome, they’ve got a Cow, Bull, Sheep, Ducks, Chickens, Turkeys and a lovely little Puppy which are all super accessible during your stay. «Attached at the rear to the 'big' house I felt a little upstairs downstairs! Loved the gardens, chooks, donkeys and outside spaces. No fuss check-in after we determined it wasn't 4pm as shown but 2pm. Recommend for city dwellers who want a taste of the farm life.»

«A great little place with lovely views, only 15-20mins from town. Perfect for 3 adults or a couple with younger kids. Communication with the owners was great and the fireplace was fantastic on a cold wet day. Only a minor inconvenience, no smart tv meant no Netflix, but we would definitely stay again»

«We had a wonderful stay at Taralga Terraces - Whiting's Store and loved the town. It was cold so we made the most of the combustion fire and the beds were cozy and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had all the amenities we needed. We ventured out to Wombeyan Caves and also had dinner at The Argyle Inn which was fantastic. Crookwell is also a lovely little town. Lisa was a great host and easy to communicate with. We would love to come back to this centrally located property.»
