Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations, and we feel compelled to provide feedback.
The quality of food at the specialty restaurants was far below what we anticipated. The dishes served were disappointing, and the drinks were watered down, which detracted from the dining experience and all inclusive package. Additionally, the staff seemed pushy and lacked effective communication among themselves, leading to repeated disturbances regarding the events we had booked.
Our spa treatment was particularly unsatisfactory; instead of a relaxing session, we were asked to listen to a 90-minute lecture, which was not what we expected explained after I asked when I first book. Moreover, I was unable to arrive on the first night due to a flight delay caused by Mother Nature. Despite this, we were informed that no partial refund could be issued, and I plan to address this matter directly with Expedia.
As well we observed that the fast food trucks and buffet offered better food options than the specialty restaurants. Higher club status guests expressed similar concerns, indicating that these issues are widespread. On a positive note, we appreciated the room upgrades feature provided during the storm, which was extremely helpful. The cleaning staff were great. The beach was beautiful—although visitors should be mindful of seaweed. Check-in staff were awesome
Overall on the value for money paid, we would rate our experience 3/5 stars.
