Airport transportation was not included, and we had to pay $40 per person for transfer. The resort was also not truly all-inclusive as advertised—access to a large portion of the hotel required an extra fee for the Diamond Club, which made us feel excluded and not valued as guests.
We traveled as three couples and one child, and room allocation was handled very poorly. One couple had paid for an ocean-view room but received a lower-class ocean view, while another couple who paid for no upgrade received a higher-class ocean-view room. The third couple was placed in a very low-level room. Overall, guests were not treated based on what they paid for.
We repeatedly requested (over four times) to be placed closer together, but despite nine buildings, we were assigned extremely far apart (Buildings 2 and 9), requiring a 15-minute walk to see each other. The room in Building 12 (also referred to as Building 2) had a constant bad smell due to a creek behind the building.
Food was often cold and overall not enjoyable. Most activities were focused on children, with very limited options for adults. The sea was full of seaweed and not pleasant for swimming.
Water quality was a major issue—the water had a strong smell and salty taste, affecting all drinks and coffee. No bottled water was available in restaurants, making it difficult to drink anything unless brought from the room. A request for toothpaste was also never fulfilled.
