«The view from the terrace is exactly as pictured - the most attractive thing in an attractive rental. Mark, the host and owner, was very helpful and provided a lovely starter basket to get us going. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d need. The funny “phone booth funicular” made access easy from the garage. Plenty of stores and restaurants in the neighbourhood, and the Point is just a scenic drive away. We would definitely stay again if we weren’t 13,000km away.»

«Good location and large place…. 4 levels (50 steps to top) Has basic kitchen essentials with nice outdoor areas and great views of ocean/sunsets. Slightly challenging for English speaking people but manageable. Does have some odors (cat urine) on lower 2 levels and WiFi only works on top 2 floor. Not luxurious but a good deal for the money ! Essaouria is very nice - lots of good restaurants!! »

"10/10 in Marrakech. Lovely staff, amazing breakfast and a great representation of the Moroccan hospitality. Greeted with a complimentary cup of warm mint tea to cope with the summer heat while the bags were carried to the room, a professional way to get you settled in. The room was already cold down by the aircondition, and there were a complementary bottle of water and some peaches (since they were in season). There was also a mini fridge with some “minibar” items but also space for your own things. The Riad provided a stable WiFi throughout the venue, since all the menus are online (by QR-code) to save paper. The food at La Pergola (the rooftop restaurant) and Le Bistro Arab are worth a visit with their solid flavours and fusions, remember to book ahead . Le Bistro Arab provides live jazz music every evening that can be seen and heard from every floor of the Riads balconies. If you are so lucky to book the spa you are in for a professional and spectacular massage, highly recommend it. The reception knows the city like the back of the hand and can help you plan your navigation through the old streets of Marrakech and even book you the transportation to take you wherever you want to go. This place is a gem and we will definitely return next time we come back."
