The resort is very family focused if you are not in the Adult only section. Most activities are dedicated to the children, and there are many different things for them to do. Excellent programs and activities daily. The pools are lovely, the kids pool with the pirate ship could be cleaner. The accommodations were excellent. We had a swim up pool with adjoining rooms. The beach is great, rough most days and they were constantly cleaning up the seaweed. The food was OK. I would suggest that the adult only restaurants were excellent, great service and food but the others were mediocre and very difficult to secure a reservation. They all had kids menus and the choices I felt were limited and the quality passable. The buffet was ok, lots of choices but I have to say the staff had a full-time job keeping things clean with so many children dropping food and spilling things. And they did a good job of it most of the time. Overall, I felt that the resort was totally focused on keeping the kids happy, and adults were a little neglected. I would have liked some entertainment at the main pool, perhaps some music.
