The kitchen was fully stocked with a large dining table for communal eating. The view from the balcony was stunning! The boat dock is a 5-minute walk down the hill, but the water didn't look swim-worthy. If you're looking to get away from people and urban living, this is a wonderful refuge. Everything was perfect, from the kitchen supplies, the bed, internet connection, to the serene outdoors and a nice place to disconnect. John even baked us fresh sourdough bread, when we arrived. We would love to visit again and highly recommend to everyone!»

«We stayed at Hopes Place with family and friends and went to the lake everyday. The house had everything we needed and plenty of place for people to sleep. The views were amazing and the property was really private. We usually rent at Oak shores but we got sick of dealing with rowdy neighbors and so many obstacles for parking our boat and trailer and cars! hopes place is so easy to access and you don’t have to deal with rowdy people. The first morning on the deck gave us great views: in the distance fog was rising on the lake, a full moon above the fog, 4 deer came by and a rainbow for an hour. It was surreal. The ping pong table in the garage was perfect for bonding with my girls. My expectations were to relax in a cozy place and enjoy nature and it was effortlessly achieved.»

«Loved the views, sound of the ocean, location and convenience. It was very comfortable and nice furnishings. They need a new sliding door to the patio (very hard to open) and there were mice scratching in the front bedroom at night😳. The toilet was was not secure to the floor in the front bathroom. Other than that, it was a nice stay.»
