«Àine and her family were amazing and so welcoming! She was quick to help us out with tips about the town, and where to get some much needed take-away after a long day of travel. The room was cozy and private, and the bath was restful. She also made us a delicious packed breakfast that we took with us and ate as a picnic on the cliffs of Moher. Lovely stay, will definitely be back!»

«Can't recommend enough. Beautiful location on Lough Corrib. We had a family reunion and the house had everything we needed for big dinners on the shores of the lough or in inclimate weather, eating indoors. Oughterard is very easy to get to from Galway on a new road that makes the journey quick. (about 30 mins) The town itself is lovely with nice food options for eating out. «Our family recently had the pleasure of staying in Atlantic way cottage and it exceeded our expectations. Eimear was a wonderful host. Communication was fantastic and she was so welcoming. The house itself was amazing. Spacious, clean and comfortable with everything required for our family of 9 with thoughtful touches throughout. A short drive to get the Ferry to the Aran Islands, which we just loved. We would definitely return to this gorgeous little retreat! 5/5»

«Fantastisk beliggenhed med den smukkeste udsigt. Mulighed for mange gode ture - til fods eller i bil - fra stedet. Lejligheden var kold og uden radiator i spise-opholds-stuen (der var radiatorer i de andre rum). Vi savnede en ansat på stedet til at svare på spm. Fx da der ikke var varmt vand eller da vi ikke kunne få badet på 1. sal til at virke. Eller om de havde en mobil radiator til spiseområdet ;)»

«We spent around 10 days in Aileens House und discovered Connemara and the west coast of Ireland. We can recommend trips to the sky road, galway, Clifden, the cliffs of moher, kylemore abbey or Diamond hill. On the other hand a day relaxing in the House is just beautiful. Nur mit aller Gewalt konnten wir die Türe öffnen, sie war total verklemmt und einer meiner Freunde ist Schreiner, der konnte die Türe mit schleifen und schaben wieder einpassen. «We enjoyed our time here and the location and view truly cannot be beat! To address some items mentioned in others reviews: When we got there there was a musty smell, as others have mentioned, but it did get better over our time there. The heat was off and it was extremely cold on our arrival, and I feel like living there and keeping it warmed up helped the situation.
