«The kitchen was well equipped, had a big stove, 3 sinks, plenty of dishes, a separate coffee area with another huge sink. The castle gave each couple plenty of room for privacy and yet had space to gather, talk, play games....it is very spacious. It was hard to pick where to meet up because everywhere was so nice. «While relatively spartan, Castello di Morcicchia is a superb place to spend time in a serene, peaceful setting in the Umbrian countryside, far from the maddening tourist hordes. The Castle is within easy driving distance of Umbria's most renowned hilltop towns and many smaller ones. There are some very pretty walks into the surrounding forests. And a fantastic terrace at the top of the castle on which to sit in the sun and gaze at the sublime vistas.»
