This spot is ideal if you’re looking for a comfortable place to wind down at night while spending your days out exploring the island. Red Hook harbor is about a 30‑minute drive, and several beautiful beaches are within 20 minutes. We also appreciated the included beach chairs, since rentals can add up quickly. «Mr. McDonald was a doll. He was extremely nice and made sure we were okay every day. His back yard is filled with lovely fruit trees and a great view. I would suggest renting a car if you can as the property is up a pretty steep hill. »
