«This was an excellent hotel in all ways, close to the beautful beach, nice and friendly people, clean and tidy etc. There could be one minus: we could miss the breakfast, but when you are a Norwegian, and there is a kitchen with all you need, you can walk into the charming city of Frederiksted and buy what you need, so compared to all the other positive things, this is not a problem.»

«The room & location was absolutely beautiful… however we notice baby roaches on our second day. The sunset dive bar was never open to get your complementary drink. The location is a a bit far from main attractions. If you walk down the rode there are multiple bars and food 10/10. The food onsite was great too but options are limited. One thing we didn’t understand .. we asked for late check out and was denied stating that they are fully booked but online showed vacancies for the same day . It ...

«I really enjoyed staying in this hotel with the charm of the colonial time. Frederiksted is unfortunately poorly maintained (not this hotel). The pool, the balcony (which is promised in the room was a shared balcony) very nice, and the placement on the beach is super. The young receptionist could benefit from a bit more training - I guess that will come.»

«Our shower did not work properly, tv never worked, for us old folks music too loud, Brian was great tried hard to correct issues. Liked the location on the Stand. Loved the patio on the second floor with comfy couches. The Restaurant at the hotel was awesome, we ate there twice. The best steak I’ve had in years.»

«Super location for diving and snorkeling. Apartment was perfect for 2 or 3 people. Comfortable with a king bed, loveseat/sofa bed and chair. Porch had a great view and seating to relax. Even when it was warm the apartment stayed cool. Host responded to all questions in a timely manner. Pool was super clean and refreshing. Lots of seating. Power outages are a thing at times but never lasted more than an hour. Local restaurants are fun and friendly. I highly recommend and would return.»

«We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!»

The property itself is amazing, walking around and seeing the hard work Miro put into making it his own, the collection from his dives and the flora he has, truly are unique and serve a purpose. «Arrival and departure was simple and very much appreciated. The Treehouse was clean and perfect for easy beach access and great food at the Landing. We loved our stay and Win was so quick and accommodating with our needs. This is not a 5 star hotel where all the dishes match so if you need that, there are many other guests waiting in line ... but we loved it and will definitely be back. Our stay exceeded above and beyond.»
