«This was an excellent hotel in all ways, close to the beautful beach, nice and friendly people, clean and tidy etc. There could be one minus: we could miss the breakfast, but when you are a Norwegian, and there is a kitchen with all you need, you can walk into the charming city of Frederiksted and buy what you need, so compared to all the other positive things, this is not a problem.»

«This is it! The room is fantastic! If you love a great oceanic view with the soothing sounds of the ocean crashing against the rocks. This is it! The location is a bit secluded from the local towns buttt still within 20/30 min reach and believe me if you’re going for the views, there’s no need to leave the area. Great restaurant (AMA) on property and a few local spots a short walk away. Literally a 4 minute walk from the beach (Cane Bay). If you’re double minded… just pick this one.»

«I really enjoyed staying in this hotel with the charm of the colonial time. Frederiksted is unfortunately poorly maintained (not this hotel). The pool, the balcony (which is promised in the room was a shared balcony) very nice, and the placement on the beach is super. The young receptionist could benefit from a bit more training - I guess that will come.»

«The balcony had an excellent view. The bar was adequately stocked and the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want to sleep past 4:30 AM bring earplugs!! The roosters start their very loud cockadoodle doing at 4:30AM and are relentless! Warm showers are not guaranteed. »

«Good ocean view from balcony and pool, including sunset. 5 minute walk along road to restaurants and beach. Central location for island activities. Snorkel shop and snorkeling at beach. This side of island has exposure to trade winds, so the snorkeling is rougher than the west side. »

«The home is just as pictured.Very clean and cozy. Ocean view. Everything was in walking distance beach 4 min walk restaurant, and stores also. The host Charles is a really nice guy .Truly had a great time. I hope to be back soon .»

«Arrival and departure was simple and very much appreciated. The Treehouse was clean and perfect for easy beach access and great food at the Landing. We loved our stay and Win was so quick and accommodating with our needs. This is not a 5 star hotel where all the dishes match so if you need that, there are many other guests waiting in line ... but we loved it and will definitely be back. Our stay exceeded above and beyond.»

«I stayed in Casa de Minin for an extended period in May, 2026. Being able to walk to the beach, dive shops, the pier, and restaurants was great! The host was gracious, generous, informative and helpful. I had friends in and out and everyone raved about the place- roomy, quiet, secure, and had everything we needed. The locals were friendly, and the area is vibrant and authentic. We all enjoyed it! LIH»
