«Cute and clean house . Nicely stocked with cooking pans, dishes, coffee,sugar and other dry spices. Great for area day trips. The local restaurant "The Kitchen" was the best place to eat. Enjoyed the short walk to the inlet watching the tide going in and out.The side deck was a nice addition. It did rain so we sat in the house and the couch was broken and very uncomfortable. «My boys and I had a great visit. Such a beautiful place inside and out. Before we were even off the island my son asked to come back next summer! Host was great and helpful. We did think there was one more bedroom than there was but that may have been how I read the description. All in all we had a great trip.»

«This property was very beautiful as was the hospitality of Magdela. We would highly recommend staying here. The tranquility mixed with solitude was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Finding so many beach treasures was the biggest highlight for us each. Especially the red and blue seaglass pieces, along with rose , brown , white , aqua, turquoise , and green. «Amazing deck made this stay just perfect. Beach access to the river was wonderful to explore and look for sea glass during low tides. Very private 1/2 mile driveway off the main road down to the watwer also made for nice walks with a bit of a challenge as you reach the top of the driveway. «We were blessed to snap up a last minute cancelation at Whale of a View cottage. It was our first time staying on Campobello and we were not disappointed. While the cabin hasnt been updated recently it is clean and comfortable. The kids loved the bunkbeds, tire swing and hammock. We all enjoyed the screened porched and smores around the fire pit. «This cottage was the perfect home base for our week away - quiet, private, scenic, comfortable. The one small bathroom might be a bit of an issue with four or more people, but for two of us it was very ample. I'm still enjoying the screened-in porch in recollection - a sweet spot indeed. And we found plenty of exploration to do on the island all week (the trails at the international park were a standout, especially the bog trail and the coastal lookouts).
