«WOW! We try and come to Charlevoix in early summer every year to see friends who own a shop in town before their season gets crazy. We have stayed in Earl Young properties each time but this cottage is AMAZING! So well stocked and perfect location. Plus just all around lovely. We would highly recommend and will be back. Our only regret was that our schedules didn’t allow a longer stay.»

«Weekend trip with my daughter. We loved the downtown location and could walk to shops and restaurants. The house had such charm and we got a kick out of seeing the house we were in on the front cover of several mushroom house books in the local stores.»

«Clean, comfortable, cozy. The cabin feels like it’s at the end of the world, but it is easy to get to Petoskey and Mackinac Island. We had our two dogs with us and they loved investigating the yard, which is full of naturalized plantings and mown paths. The space was great for my husband and me, but I think it would be tight with any additional adults. This was a great getaway!»

«Modernized. Clean. Comfortable beds/furniture. Clarify ‘directions’. Name of road not on any street signs. Actually is the highway (add that info!). Drove by x 2 looking for crossroad; property drive RIGHT OFF (two line) highway. Much traffic noise, daytime. Good restaurant across street. Group of cabins on pretty inland lake. One property building is ‘fish cleaning house’, so must be good fishing, here. 🐟»

«It was my first time in Petoskey, it’s a beautiful town and the location of the cottage was perfect. Beautiful scenery, quiet and relaxing. The cottage was a little worn and not very clean. The carpets were stained and the back door screen was torn. But the location and scenery made up for it. Will definitely stay again.»

«Lovely property in an ideal setting. Stunning sunsets and the wind rustling through the trees was so peaceful. The property was, in the words of college bound teens, “sooo cozy and charming”. Wow, those are teens saying that! They loved the comfy couch and oversized chairs. The master suite was very nice with a cozy fireside glow to fall asleep to. «The home is stunning. I've rented dozens of homes and the kitchen and bathrooms here were stocked better than any I've rented. The attention to detail was evident. Margaret checked on us as soon as we arrived to make sure we got in ok and had everything we needed. The entire property is beautiful and peaceful. We loved making pizza in the outdoor oven. It was a great week spent with close friends.»

«We really enjoyed our stay here. The layout was perfect for our group to give everyone their own space, but also have a good common space. The location was close to the ski hill, though I will say the roads during a snow storm can get dicey. Even with slow driving, we were still able to make it to the hill in 15 minutes or so. «This was a perfect location for our weekend getaway with two other families with young kids. The house had even more beds than advertised and the layout of the house was great for adults and kids to have their own space. Tons of kids toys and games stocked which was an unexpected perk! Only con I can think of is there is a picture of a keurig so we brought our kcups but it turns out there is only a regular coffee pot. Not a biggie cause it’s only 10 minutes from meijer.»
