This is due to the friendly welcoming warm staff - specially Rosie who couldn’t do enough for us, she happily showed us around the facilities and made us feel very special. The fun, colourful vibe and swim up cocktails were a treat and the room with the double bath was one of its kind and so memorable. «The stay at the Le Strange Arms was excellent from when we booked in to when we left. The room was clean and supplied with biscuits and fresh milk in a bottle, made a change from U H T in plastic. The breakfast was very good set us up for the day. The only complaint was the shower it was very hot I could not turn it down to a comfortable temperature. »

«Check in process was easy, it was all self service and the instructions were very clear so it made this a simple process. The room was a decent size however part is the ceiling is quite low so you had to duck down when moving around. (Room 5) There was a fridge with a jug of water in and a selection of tea and coffee on the side with biscuits. I stayed for 2 nights but there was only enough coffee and biscuits for 1 night. «Had to change rooms as stairs were very steep really struggled with them so me am my friend asked to be moved to a downstairs twin room none available but had a double available for which they wanted £90 on Top of the £65 we had already paid obviously we declined an went back to room I nearly fell downstairs as I’m disabled an use a stick my friend isn’t much better so we rang reception to ask if they could come up with a better price for double room and relented an charged us 45 but still think ...

«Excellent stay. Staff were superb along with the food and drink on offer. Maybe some healthier options would be a suggestion, plus the heating was constantly on full through the building. Money saving opportunity here. Definitely recommend.»
