No wifi in our room at all which was unfortunate as the only time we were interested in catching up on emails etc was just before bed. We aren’t interested in spending time on our phones during the day when we’re enjoying vacation.
The food was average- we found something to eat everyday so can’t complain there.
Our air conditioner stopped working at one point but they did promptly fix it.
We paid extra for “elite” status or whatever they call it and bell boys didn’t even offer to take our luggage to our room on check in or pick it up on check out which is usually standard at most resorts.
The resort doesn’t enforce rules about reserving sun loungers so there were tons of people reserving their chairs the night before and therefore no chairs to be found by the pool or beach unless you were down there at 0500H to reserve. When we brought this up with the pool boys they didn’t seem to do much about it.
Overall it was an okay vacation but I can’t say I’ll be back.
I do want to give a strong commendation to a few servers who went above and beyond to make our experience great. Thank you to Luisx2 (restaurant and bar), Gustavo, Ignacio, and Alejandro for your exceptional service.
