The buffet was very repetitive and often cold or dry from being left out. Omelette bar, fresh fruit, French toast and tacos, we’re always good. I have a gluten allergy, and they were very accommodating with any of my requests. Booked restaurants were higher quality, with the Brazilian being our favourite. The coffee shop was one of our favourite features with hot and cold specialty drinks and desserts. Rooms were spacious and beautiful, but some updates needed. We had adjoining rooms with our children which elevated our overall experience. The sports complex was a highlight for our children (age 10-16). It had a wide variety of sports and activities. The spa was beautiful, clean and offered many services. Pool drink service was available, however only one server was working at a time, for the whole pool area, which made for slower service. The server however, was very friendly and hustled. The pool was spotless, people scrubbing it at dark and again first thing in the morning. The pool area was spacious and we never had to sit directly beside another family. The White Sands beach had an astonishing amount of seaweed. However, we could utilize the beach at the colonial. The beach chairs were spread apart, giving people space and breathing room. Servers were also at the beach, which elevated our experience. We didn’t attend any of the shows at the Kantenah, however our parents really enjoyed the Beatles cover band that played one evening. The grounds were mature and well kept.
