We booked this resort for our honeymoon, and it was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a resort. Upon checking in we were told that there are only 2 restaurants that require a reservation, klay talay and Mia casa Italian. Well a few days later we go to have dinner at La Carreta, the Mexican restaurant and are told we need a reservation to which we replied that we were only told the 2 required reservations and even the resort app shows it doesn’t require a reservation. The employee we were speaking to was extremely rude telling us we are wrong and that we were informed of this at check out and was very disrespectful.
Unfortunately the problems didn’t stop there, our room phone went out 3 times and was never fully fixed after multiple reports to the front desk and maintenance department.
The food on property was very disappointing, and quite dangerous. we went to breakfast multiple times and each time without fail the sausage was very undercooked so much so it was pink inside and could cause people to be very sick.
Even after having multiple conversations with one of the managers about the issues, all we were given was an apology and told they would see what they could do, Which was nothing as they never got back to us.
Overall I would not recommend this resort to anybody and encourage you to book somewhere else. The only reason this is not a 1 star is because the staff excluding the one individual was very friendly and caring to us.
