Leiligheten består av en stor stue med kjøkken, spisestue og stue med utsikt over kanalen, to soverom, ett med dobbeltseng (evt. Great Apartment

We enjoyed a week in this nice apartment. Its central location was perfect for easy walking to every neighborhood. We loved watching and listening to the gondolas passing by just outside the windows (gondoliers are so close they can use their foot to push off the apartment's exterior wall, and you can watch them check their appearance in the windows' reflection). This is a really special experience and, in a way, as interesting as a gondola ride itself (the reflective glass prevents outsiders from looking in until dark). In the evening, after a long day of walking, we'd turn off our lights, open the drapes, and enjoy the view and music with our glass of wine. Be aware, however, that there is a dock very nearby and noisy activity begins early in the morning due to garbage collection, deliveries, and taxi transport--so ear plugs are a good idea in the bedroom on the canal side (with the king bed). The apartment has two nice bedrooms with good beds and storage, a nice small kitchen with dishwasher and large refrigerator, and two modern bathrooms with showers. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the manager, Sylvia, was extremely kind, responsive, and helpful. We highly recommend this apartment. (Our only suggestion would be a more comfortable sofa.) Overall, it was a lovely, clean, and modern apartment in a fabulous location.

Great location and comfortable beds.

This is an interesting ground-floor two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment right on a canal. It was fun to see the light traffic on the canal, and we opened the windows and interacted with many of them as they floated by. The water taxi from the train station to the unit was seamless, and the unit was a few steps from the drop-off point. There was plenty of shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.

Long term stay

First thing - Silvia was a great manager, helping with transport and any questions we had. The location was good, the kitchen was well stocked, the window on the canal better than a tv for entertainment. Just a note for long-term renters (we were there for 3 weeks). You have to request (and pay for) clean sheets and towels each week. This was a bit of a surprise for us as this service has usually been provided at other vrbo rentals. FYI, as stated there is not a washer/dryer in this apartment, but there is a nice laundromat Effe Erre about a 15 minute walk (near Palazzo Grimani). Lots of carry bags in the apartment. We loved going to the opera house, then dinner in the square then a few steps home. Also enjoyed the giardini biennale with the glass house for coffee. A short stroll in any direction will get you away from the crowds. Splurge for the water taxi to and from the airport….it was worth it! Thanks for a wonderful stay in Venice

Great visit in Venice

We stayed for two nights in late May 2024. Communication with the local host Sylvia was very good. She arranged a private water taxi from the airport to the apartment and then to the train station. The water taxi dropped us off feet from the apartment entrance which was very convenient. The apartment is nicely furnished and very comfortable. Location is great, there's a coffee shop just feet from the front door and main attractions like Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco are very short walks. The pictures don't lie - the apartment is on the canal and the gondolas are coming by regularly. The windows are tinted so they can't see in so don't worry. It's nice when the gondala has musicians as it just adds a touch of Venice while you're resting in the apartment. It's very quiet at night. All in all a very good stay and would recommend.

Amazing location, nice apartment

This is a lovely apartment with a wonderful view of the gondolas gliding past all day. It’s a spacious apartment with two bathrooms and nice sized bedrooms. It would be nice in the heat of summer being on the lowest floor, but it was chilly in Venice while we were there and the room heaters kept the space very cozy warm. It was a quick walk into St. Marks from this location but it was off a quiet street. The restaurants in the square nearby were great. Overall it was the perfect choice for our vacation.

Great Apartment in Venice!

Great apartment, located near excellent restaurants and shopping. Canal is literally right out the window! Host arranged for a private water taxi that took us from the train station directly to the apartment (much appreciated!). Beds were comfortable, apartment was very clean. We will stay again if we get back to Venice.

Best true Venice experience

We absolutely loved this property! It was incredible watching the Gondola’s go by and listening to the Gondoliers singing. It was very easy to get to all the hot spots in town. Thank you Silvia for such an awesome host.

Great apartment, great location

Our family stayed here for a weekend in Venice and wish it would’ve been longer. The apartment was perfect for us. The location was great; we loved watching gondolas go past the window and were mere steps from a nice piazza with good restaurants. Everything we wanted to see in Venice was a quick, easy walk away. Silvia responded quickly when we had questions and even booked water taxis for us from the airport and to the train station. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The Perfect Venice Experience

The apartment was absolutely perfect! Great shops and restaurants nearby and easy to get to everything. Canal right outside your window.Bathrooms and kitchen seem to be recently upgraded, very very nice. My wife, my daughter and I I loved it. The host was very responsive and helpful. Excellent from all aspects!

We had a fabulous time staying here. Silvia was wonderful and very helpful. The apartment is in a fantastic location . Your windows open to the channel and the gondolas go by. Walking distance to everything. Beds were comfy and the place was very clean. Loved it! Would highly recommend staying here.

Great Stay in Venice!

We stayed for 2 nights and loved every minute. The location was so convenient….very close to a water taxi stop and steps to a square with restaurants, cafes and La Fenice, the opera house. The kitchen and bathrooms seemed brand new. Communication with owner was excellent. Silvia welcomed us and helped us with water taxis to and from the train. We loved watching the boats and gondolas from the living room window. The apartment was very clean as well. The owner also booked us a tour guide, Lucia, who was fabulous. All in all a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back.

Charming apartment, perfect location

We started our Italy trip here and it was perfect. Gondoliers went right by our view, singing in the afternoon. The apartment was a perfect size and very comfortable. Very quiet at night. Water taxi ride from the airport was one of the best parts of the trip! Host was very accommodating even though we were delayed several hours

We had a good experience with this listing. Roberto the host was responsive and Silvia, who checked us in was great. She talked directly to our watertaxi driver to be sure to get him to the right landing for us. That was key. The area of the apartment is just lovely with a few good restaurants and an easy walk to the main attractions of Venice. The apartment was clean and as described and expected. Being on the canal and seeing boats and gondolas pass by was fun. Good bathrooms. Perfect for 1 couple and a 1 single. Only issue was the wi-fi. It was not good. Not sure much could be done considering the area and the very thick walls. Glad we didn't have to do any online work.

Perfect location

What a great little apartment. Everything was within walking distance. There is a gondola loading deck outside the dining area window. The bathrooms had heated floors and towel racks which was a nice surprise. Only downside is that it does get noisy in the morning due to the water taxis and workers

The property was a great location and nice property. Accommodations inside were good. Fully furnished with appliances although we did not use any. The only issue was the internet was slow as dial up and narrow bandwidth. We were supposed to do an online witnessed covid test but were unable to because the internet would not work well enough. Otherwise it was on a canal and we watched the gondolas and ships go by

Situation parfaite, contact réactif, RdC idéal pour personnes à mobilité réduite, plaisir de voir défiler les gondoles, autant de points positifs. Mais : WiFi inexistant et données mobiles inaccessibles sur plusieurs portables, four qui fait systématiquement sauter les plombs après 5 minutes d'utilisation. Difficile à accepter étant donné le tarif.

View of the canal

Roberto was excellent at communication. The check in was easy. They were there when we arrived to show us around. The place is located along a canal and central to the Rialto bridge. Lots of cafes just outside. It was nice to have gondolas traveling past our windows. The place has windows you could see out but they couldn’t see in.
