It was the worst experience ever in NYC. I stayed at the Delta Hotel in Manhattan near Times Square. The location is great and very convenient, but unfortunately my experience at the hotel was disappointing.
When I first checked into my room, I found bugs in the room. I informed the staff and they told me the issue would be resolved. However, when I came back later, I found them again. A staff member then said they would change my room and asked us to pack all our belongings.
We ended up waiting most of the day for a new room. We were originally on the 17th floor with a nice view, but the new room they gave us was on the 3rd floor with no view and essentially the same type of room. There was no apology or real effort to make up for the inconvenience.
The staff also felt quite cold and unhelpful during the process, which made the situation even more frustrating. After everything that happened, I honestly felt uncomfortable complaining again.
It’s a shame because the location is excellent, but the way this issue was handled really affected our stay.
