This was our second time to manhattan. The first time we stayed near times square, which may at first seem to be more central, but we found that staying further south on manhattan was even better.
It is a good spot from which we could easily explore manhattan, brooklyn and queens both by foot and nearby subway (MTA).
The hotel has a nice and professional staff and we received an upgrade to stay on the 29th floor, which was great. The view and the room were both fine and as expected.
In the lobby there is free wifi but in the rooms its paid only, which is simply not good enough for a 4 star hotel in 2017.
The only let down was that we booked the hotel with prepaid breakfast included, expecting a nice breakfast buffet, since the hotle has 4 stars on manhatton.
The hotel however has no kitchen but cooperate with an in house establishment (Bills Bar & Burgers) which unfortunately have a very limited and monotone breakfast menu. You wont find any fibers here. The staff was okay but while one person in particular was a true gem, another was rather rude.
Fordeler: Location, rooms and staff
Ulemper: The hotel needs an upgrade in accordance with 4 star hotel standards anno 2017, including a international breakfast buffet and free wifi.
