STAY AWAY! I strongly advise anyone considering this property to look elsewhere. Our stay was defined by a complete lack of basic amenities and some of the most unprofessional management I have ever encountered.
1. Uninhabitable Conditions & Dishonesty
Upon arrival, the unit was 55 degrees inside. When we contacted customer support regarding the lack of heat, we were told—unbelievably—that "nobody in Miami has heat." Not only is this factually false, but it was used as an excuse to ignore a basic habitability issue.
2. Terrible Customer Service
The management team was consistently rude, dismissive, and ultimately hung up on us multiple times. After initially promising a refund due to the lack of heating, they ended up denying it entirely. Even the Expedia rep we worked with noted that the property staff was "extremely rude" to them while trying to mediate.
3. Poor Value & Logistics
• The Unit: The space is extremely sterile and uninviting. It has two cheap beds, a small TV, and a fridge. It feels more like a basic, low-end dorm room than a professional rental.
• Access & Parking: Parking is a nightmare and costs an additional $40 per night. Furthermore, actually accessing the unit is difficult and poorly designed. The pictures are only for a couple of the street facing units.
Bottom line: avoid a nightmare and stay away from Casa Sobe.
