Ice cold showers and pests
This should have been one star had it not been for the very nice gentleman working the reception.
We checked in to our room and the first thing we discover was an insect/pest in the bathroom that is incredibly hard to get rid of if you take it home with you (skjeggkre for oss norske).
They booked us to a different room right away, thankfully.
We tried taking a shower in the morning, only to be met with ice cold water and barely any water pressure. My mom ended up having to rinse off soap and shampoo in the sink. The person in the reception told us to wait ten minutes, and we waited ten to thirty minutes but still only cold water. This was every day.
Hotels.com tried talking to the hotel to get us a refund, but they were slow in answering and refused a refund of any kind.
This really set the mood for our London trip and we are incredibly disappointed with the hotels unwillingness to make sure their guests were happy.
And also we had to pay during check-in, which is new for me. So we couldn't do anything about the very large amount we payed.
Worse expierince in total than what I've had with even the cheapest motels.
