    Our family had a wonderful stay at Andrew’s home in Islington. We loved the neighborhood and the surrounding pubs, restaurants, and shops, and we were able to walk to Emirates stadium for a match. The location is close to all of central London spots but within an adorable urban oasis. The home itself is very comfortable and easy to forget that you haven’t lived there for years. We will book again and again! Thank you, Andrew!

    Terrific stay. The accommodations are what is shown on the site. We use VRBO often but the host, Andy, was the best- responsive, friendly, professional, shared some great dining ideas with us. Love the neighborhood. I’ve never stayed in east London before but it’s a quick tube ride from everything and more of a neighborhood feel than central London. Next time we make London plans this rental will be our first choice.

    This is a wonderfully comfortable property. We stayed for 4 weeks, so enjoyed being able to relax some evenings watching Netflix just like home. But the area has lots to entertain you when you want to go out. Just steps from the Regent Canal, you can walk to lovely Canal side restaurants, or just have a tea or coffee.

    Great place excellent location

    This apartment was perfect for my husband and me both! We loved the quiet and quaint neighborhood- the walk to any local restaurant or pub was perfect- the apartment was decorated very nicely! All the essentials and necessary things that hotels just don’t offer- loved the charm and the nostalgia of the authentic architecture- tube was so near, which was the added bonus! Only thing that might not work for someone is if they are not able to walk up stairs- (not an issue for us). I came to London to run a half marathon and for me and my husband to see the city- that is what we did!

    Charming space in quiet neighborhood but still close to restaurants, grocery and underground. Great for small group. Kitchen well equipped. Everything in good condition. Owner easy to reach with a couple questions. Checkin/out easy. Highly recommended!

    Wonderful stay at a lovely property

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The flat is as pictured, beautifully maintained, very comfortable. Andrew was a pleasure to work with very responsive and clear with instructions. Had some lovely wine and water for us in the fridge on arrival. The location is outstanding! Easy access to everything and Angel and Islington. The flat is on the first and second floors, so there are definitely stairs to manage. Something to note if you’re lifting heavy bags up. And the bathroom is on the second floor. But everything is in great shape and well-maintained. Highly recommend it the Nespresso and aerocino machines were very appreciated. There are two off licensed shops, just around the corner, and large supermarkets within a couple of blocks. Overall a great place to stay in a great area with a wonderful host.

    This is a lovely flat in Islington. A quick walk to shops, restaurants and public transportation and near the canal for a stroll along the water. The location is a safe and quiet escape from central London but close enough to explore everything.

    We enjoyed our stay! Kitchen was stocked with condiments and kitchenware for light cooking, beds were comfortable, and communication w owner was good. I didn't care for the self check-in lock box but it worked fine. Nice place, we'll be back!

    Wonderful homely stay

    My family took this house for a week in the coldest week of December that Britain's seen for a few years. The house was perfect in every way. Homely, warm, comfortable, had everything we needed. Was perfectly positioned with great transport links. Would definitely stay again. Great property and Andrew the host is fabulous with his helpful suggestions of things to do and places to go!

    Excellent Islington Location

    We enjoyed our stay at the property, although it was extremely hot a record 40degrees. The property remained relatively cool a couple more fans would have been helpful. The property is well furnished and comfortable. We stayed four weeks and would definitely stay again .

    A Home in the City

    A wonderful stay. Waking up to bird song in the morning. A walk along the canal. A coffee and pastry in Angel. A delicious dinner two minutes away in any direction, and yet everything you need if you just want to make dinner at home and visit with family. And most of all a beautiful, quiet, well kept, stylish home in a safe and comfortable neighborhood. We slept better than at home every night. Simply the best stay we have had in London!

    Beautiful house, great location, awesome host

    I wanna start by saying how gorgeous this house is. From the moment stepping into this house my friend and I felt like we were home. The house is on a very quiet street and the wooden floors and decor make it feel regal and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary utensils and a beautiful stove. The couch in the living room is very big and comfy and a great place to relax and read a book in the evening. Upstairs there are two bedrooms all decorated with cool pictures of various musicians and good shades that block out the sun (if you like to sleep in pitch black like me). The bathroom has a cool checkerboard tile floor and came fully stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toilet paper. Our host was a really cool, personable guy and he would respond quickly to all of my texts. He also gave great recommendations on restaurants and bars in the area. Like I said above, the location is great. It' about 20 meters from a local grocery store that had all the essentials and about an 8 minute walk from the main street which had shopping and fun local eateries. Overall we had a great time, definitely will be booking in the future when I come back to London.
