Location was excellent-easy walk to Paddington station. Street had coffee/breakfast shops and a couple of nice restaurants. Apartment is exactly as posted. Small grocers within 5 min walk for snacks and food if you want to eat in. Our host was excellent to provide timely information and photos for key retrieval and check in before we arrived, however, it must be noted that the check-in location is on a different street than the actual flat and the key location is a lockbox hanging on a wall in a large parking lot and there are a lot of lockboxes! We could not find the lockbox and when we called the host, she did not answer! We received help from 2 strangers walking by to help us locate the right lockbox. Thank goodness-otherwise we would have had to get a hotel room! Then, the next morning our host messaged “I did not answer your call because it was too late, I hope you got into the flat”. This host behaviour was disturbing to us, that our host was not answering her phone in a time of high need. We also messaged and got no response. Though, from her response, she knew it was is calling. Again… thank goodness for the kindness of strangers.
