The apartment can accommodate up to 6 guests, with a living area that features a relaxing sofa and a flat screen TV, dining area, and equipped kitchen. The Neighborhood:

The Eixample is a modernist district that stretches from Plaça de Catalunya and includes both residential and business areas. It is the neighbourhood where you can find Carrer de Valencia, in which the apartment is situated. It’s known for its grid system of straight streets, which was built in the 1860s to accommodate the city’s rising population. There are many restaurants and cafes in this region, which is full of modernist structures with stone and iron embellishments on their façade.

The left side of the Eixample is the largest neighborhood in this district. It's a great area to explore on foot, with a wide variety of bars offering live music and local shops, as well as great terraces where you can kick back and relax over a coffee. In this neighborhood, the large number of restaurants that offer a type of cuisine with a more avant-garde style stands out. In this neighborhood there are the Can Battle¡s three buildings (currently the Industrial School), the former prison La Modelo, the park Joan Miró located in the emplacement of the former city's slaughterhouse, the bullfighting ring Las Arenas, which is nowadays a commercial center, and the Casa Golferichs.



Getting Around:

The closest metro station is Universitat (Lines 1 & 2).

The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€

- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small fee of 6.25€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Easy walk to everything including Casa Batlló and Casa Milà. The full size beds were comfortable but the 2 twin beds were uncomfortable. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms, but the shower stall in smaller bathroom was too small to comfortably shower in … the shower curtain kept touching your body as you showered, so we all just used the main bathroom. There’s a washer but no dryer so you have to hang-dry clothes. Otherwise the apartment was pretty comfortable.

Nice people running the place - responsive when we had issues. However, the place is not safe for young children. The kitchen and bedrooms were clean, but the main bathroom and other areas of the house, are really nasty. Broken curtains, filthy blinds, warped floor boards that we tripped over constantly, open outlets with no covers, black mold in the shower. A broken shower head that fell and hit our faces constantly. The patio was a mess when we arrived, dirty, broken furniture and tiles just sitting around. Our washer flooded while we were there and we called them - they repaired it. Then, the restaurant below called one day and asked us to stop using one of the bathrooms because when we flushed, the water went into their restaurant! So, we had only one bathroom for two days until they sent someone out. Talk about stressful.If the apartment were clean, it could be great. But, nobody liked this rental. The photos on the VRBO listing are quite deceiving. This is the kind of place that is driving us back to hotels, honestly. I’m over stays like this. 3,000 for a week in a dirty apartment with unsafe elements for kids.I want to mention that we were provided with one white towel per person for the entire week. There were no linens in the kitchen or elsewhere, so when we had floods (washing machine & shower leaked), we had to use our clothing to control the water on the floor until we could run to the store and buy some towels. So many things wrong with this place.

Barcelona Visit

The property was in a great location. It was easily walkable to many locations including train station and the metro. The property was also very clean. On the occasion when we had an issue they were very prompt in correcting the issue.

Great Time in Barcelona

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. There were few hiccups but the property management addressed all of them in a timely manner. Also, it was very helpful to have someone stop by the first day and show us how to use the heating units and other issues so that we do not overload the electric breakers. This informative session truly made our stay a pleasant one. Moreover, the location is truly Awesome and close to everything! The digital key was very easy to navigate. We will definitely use this place if we are to come back to Barcelona.

Family Visit to UOB study abroad student

The property location was exactly what we were looking for, approx. 2 blocks from Universite of Barcelona. The property served its purpose as a place to sleep and shower, but the place is in need of some basic upgrades. Both toilet seats were broken, trash cans broken, flooring and molding were rough, kitchen floor was tired, range hood did not work. Curtin's on 1 front window were blocking the window, so the doors could not open. The bed were fine and the place was decent but some upkeep could make it much better. Great location for café, restaurants, and grocery.

Great apartment in great location in Barcelona

This apartment was as pictured online. The host was great to correspond with and was very quick to reply. Check in process was all electronic and went smoothly. She allowed us to leave our bags ahead of check in so we didn't have to haul them. The cleaning lady was concerned with this, but we were allowed to leave them. The apartment had three bedrooms and two baths and was in a terrific location. Coffee shop and small market were both within a half block. We were happy with it and would stay there again.

Roomy apartment excellent Eixample location

First the good—amazing location to walk to most major attractions (1.5 miles or under) plus you don’t even need to go that far, the neighborhood itself has great restaurants, culture and shops on every corner every street. University metro stop is two blocks away, Aldi for groceries is across the street and Carrer de Consell de Cent, a mostly car-free street that’s easy to walk and filled with life, is just one block over. In addition, communication with the hosts was responsive and friendly, the keys are digital and accessed through an app and the building has a locked outside door that adds a layer of security. There were a few cons with the apartment itself and in fairness to the perceived comfort level of the pics vs experience I’ll mention them. The pics show a rug in the living room, extra blankets on the beds and comfortable mesh chairs for the outside patio. Those things were not a part of our experience. Also the curtain rods over the French doors to the front small balcones need new hardware, the support brackets are loose and fall out of the wall if you want to open the curtains and doors. When we arrived the place smelled musty and we discovered a not small amount of mold in the larger shower, not a huge problem since we found some bleach and cleaned it, and the rest of the place was comfortably clean.

Five days of hell

Apartment very outdated. Old furniture, old appliances. Bathrooms have mold. Door lock was broken in first day. ( screw fell off) Virtual lock working only if there is internet in apartment but electric for internet set on same line as A/C . So if you leave ac on and electric braker trips you have no excess to apartment. A/c exists in all rooms but unit is broken or turn off. There is a/c in the living room but it doesn’t help much for other rooms. Host responds kind of quick but very rude. I

PI Universitat

There were no instructions or communications before our stay to know how to access the property. I realised that checking in was all online.After a phone call and a wait to find out if we had a booking we were finally let in remotely. The flat is a little bit tired and the second bathroom shower is very small but the flat is conveniently located with a pastry and sandwich shop over the road. The balcony/ veranda area is accessed through a bedroom. There is a lift which was great for my Mum. Good as a base to explore from. A few little extras like salt, pepper, oil and coffee would be nice.

Nice Appartement, very central

We liked the appartement very much and the contact to the agentur was very comfortable. The only P problem ist a very unfriendly neighbour, who blamed our son for falling dawn the stairs instead of helping him. Twice she turned the bell to complain about us beeing too loud, but we we're only talking into the kitchen before 10 PM. Everything else was very fine, thank you

Family Trip to Barcelona

Es waren tolle Tage in Barcelona. Die Wohnung ist super gelegen, Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Metro-Knotenpunkte sind fußläufig erreichbar. Räumlichkeiten wie beschrieben- reichlich Platz für 4 Personen. Schöne Terasse. Schlafräume ruhig. Etwas mehr Geschirr und Gläser wären ganz schön.

Nice apartment Great location

The apartment was conveniently located for our family vacation exploring Barcelona. Grocery and metro very close. Nice cafe across the street. Communication with host was great and they were very helpful. If you plan to cook you will need to buy seasonings and oil. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was quiet, well stocked, and so conveniently located to la Rambla and Gothic district and main metro stations. Having a patio was lovely although the chairs need replacing. We would stay here again. The owners responded immediately to all our questions.

This apartment was absolutely amazing! I literally could not ask for more, it's hard to list all the benefits. Firstly the location is perfect, everything is in walking distance so 10/10 for location. The views will take toy back, when I first entered the apartment and opened the balcony I was blown away! The beautiful courtyards of the Universitat is in front and then you can see Tibidabo and the amazing Sacre Cour in the distance! 3 blanconys at front and 3 at back. Rooms are all huge, airy and full of light. 2 Bathrooms and sitting room, dining room and a big living room plus 3 extra rooms for storage, washing machines and every little bits you could ask for including having everything you need it the great kitchen. The communication with the owners has been brilliant, from welcoming to guidance and then departure and very easy going and non intrusive so perfect, have to commend them on this beautiful property and the care they have taken. Highly recommend this to anyone and I will be back here for sure.

Great location in Barcelona

This was a great place to stay and is a 2 block walk to the Universitat metro station. There is a nice coffee and pastry shop across the street and an Aldi around the corner. It was comfortable for 4 adults. The street noise is very loud with the windows open in front, but when closed they block the noise pretty well. Would recommend.

2nd Floor VINTAGE BOHO in busy Urban Area

Basic IKEA refresh of an old Barcelona apartment. Slim on supplies and would be more accurately described as 1-1/2 bath… not 2. (The shower curtain attacked us every time.) This space can only support 4-Adults. Be prepared for neighbors coming in at all hours of the night. Details like towel racks missing and linens so thin as to have only one side. Location was close to everything, though.
