«Hi, We booked this hotel without doing any prior research. After a slightly winding road up to the castle, a wonderfully cozy hotel revealed itself! We were greeted by friendly staff who told us a bit about the place and showed us to our room. We chose to have the four-course dinner at the castle — very good food and charming surroundings! «The place was very nice and in a great location. The villa had AC in the bedroom, which was great, and it has the charm you’d expect from an old villa. That said, the bathroom (especially the showers) could use a little renovation. The restaurant on-site was really good, and the staff at check-in were very nice and welcoming. «The property had beautiful views. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well appointed. We did not use the common areas very much because it was very hot during our stay. The pool was clean and refreshing and the host recommendations for restaurants in the area were excellent. The access road to the property was challenging Especially if you had a low car a Jeep or 4 Wheel Dr. type vehicle is probably best we all enjoyed our stay.»
