«The property is located on a major road that connects Switzerland to Italy. Border control is approximately 1km away. So most of the time is very busy but once inside the property not noticeable. Also benefits from a commuter train that travels into the very nice city of Lugano. The property from the front is disappointing, untidy and tired. «Rented this spot in Ticino and it worked out perfectly. Walking distance to a bakery/coffee shop. Had a great meal at Ristorante Sport. Migros grocery store is right down the street. Small village of 1500 people. Close drive to Lugano and only an hour drive to Malpensa airport. The views of the lake are fantastic.»

The house is a walking distance to a number of scenic hikes and 10 minutes drive from the beautiful city of Solothurn. The villa is a huge family home with multiple seating areas outside. «The location is beautiful, right by the lake and there is BBQ, garden, all cooking utensils etc! Probably need 2 more drinking mugs and we can’t find any ironing facilities! The shower room needs a shelf or cupboard to put things on but all in all, we are very happy and thank you for letting us stay! »
