«Stayed at Dunain Croy farm house with some friends for a 60th birthday getaway. The house is so welcoming, comfortable and in an idyllic setting. «The farmhouse is in idyllic location, facing the Moray Firth and surrounded by woodland. The cottage is called Dolphin views and within 2 hours of being here up popped a pod in the estuary! Th cottage has a spread out set up, with bedroom both sides of the dining/kitchen area. The spiral staircase to the mezzanine floor was very tight and a bit rickety, but the boys loved it! «Large and comfortable farmhouse, it isn't modern by any means but it is warm, comfortable and has a nice feel about it. The shower was really good and plenty of hot water, I also appreciated the traditional features, like the sink in the twin bedroom - great for little ones brushing their teeth before bed and the fire places in the double rooms. «This house has it all. Beautiful garden with hot tub and bbq hut. Inside the garden room with log burner was a great place to hang out . Only 5 minutes drive to Hawick so we went every day to do walks and pick up groceries. We were able to cook a full Christmas dinner in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed it in spacious dining room.»
