«Enjoyed the weekend at Wauchope Cottage. Perfect location to explore the coast and Galloway forest area of SW Scotland. House is super clean and much more room than we expected. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved walking around. It would be nice if there was an opportunity to visit the castle to see the inside. This is a fairly remote property, so be prepared to drive to anything you need. But so quiet and peaceful.»

«The cottage is simply lovely. Very clean, all the amenities and luxury bedding. The grounds of the Blair Estate are beautiful for walks and we were well situated for visiting family. «Absolutely amazing place, will be booking again for Easter next year! Cannot fault anything here! Beautiful scenery all around. My daughter wants to get married here and I agree this would be the perfect venue! Thumbs up from me! Also Martin is the gentleman we called if we had any issues! He was polite and helpful when I had to have sone help regarding an Amazon delivery! Cannot wait to comeback again. »

«We loved our stay at the Wee Silverburn! It was the perfect size for our family of 4. Decorated so nicely, very comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and baking wares and cleaning supplies. The babbling brook just beyond the lush garden plantings completed the lovely setting. The location is wonderful, an easy walk down the beach and other offerings at Whiting Bay. The bus stop is right there too if you want to pop to a pub or two in Lamlash for dinner and drinks. ...

«Beautiful location with lovely, comfortable accomodation. The night staff were very friendly, accomodation and helpful on our arrival. We felt very welcome. However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy!»

«The bungalow exceeded expectations! It was absolutely perfect for us. Quiet location overlooking the bay and easy walk into Lamlash. Great lounge with super modern TV and great view over the bay. We could quite easily watch the seals from our front window. Well equiped kitchen. We had red squirrels visiting the back garden. This really us a top notch property and we would certainly stay again!»

«Very convenient location, well equipped house, friendly owner. Worth it just for the sunsets over Aran. Only a short distance from the airport so ideal for photographing comings and goings. Never heard any planes from the house though. Nice town so many places to eat out handy for many other places to visit.»

«Great location but my stay was disappointing to say the least. I was the only resident. The hot water in bathroom and kitchen was a trickle and almost non existent. The bedroom TV was inoperable. The worst issue was the shower! It did not work. I had three local friends attempting to operate but it would not turn on. I had to go to a friend’s house to shower. It was frustrating. I emailed owner but they never responded to my complaint. I would have thought they would have checked in to see how ...

Bra hotell sentralt i Ayr.
"Eldre hotell med ekstra rom i to anneks. Flott resepsjon, rask og hyggelig innsjekking. Stort rom (i annekset), stor seng og god komfort. Greit bad. Rom mot gaten kan ha litt trafikkstøy morgen og ettermiddag, men det er stille på natta. Flott restaurant med god service og nydelig mat, både frokost og middag. Koselig bar ved resepsjonen, og en stor peisestue rett over gangen. Stabil og rask WiFi over hele hotellet. Godt med parkeringsplasser. Velstelte uteområder. Gangavstand til bysentrum og The Mile."
