A very mixed experience. Rooms good for price - slept well - but most guests may want different pillows than the super firm and huge that are their standard. Because my review time is limited I’ll get to the point - while a few of the front desk staff were great (Sammy and Glady - not sure of spelling) several others not good at all. No one seemed to work longer than a few hours, several were curt and made no effort to be helpful or provided wrong info. Example: it was raining so I asked front desk if they might have umbrellas and was told no. In fact each room has an umbrella, but I was just checking in and didn’t find umbrella until after I needed it . Staff should known this
Worse was rudeness - about 10.30 on Feb 12 I asked front desk man about travel to airport and was told to look up on Internet myself All I can say is that at most hotels certain questions come up every day and front desk should offer some assistance - perhaps with caveats for some uncertainties. A travel tip.- the $25 amenity fee gets you stale croissants if you come at say 9am because they don’t replenish after first setting out. Lastly I note for anyone who likes to swim laps - there is a fantastic 25 meter pool. This alone would make me go back - but knowing that there are some problems that the hotel could fix without even spending much money - care in hiring staff, some training, freshen up the breakfast pastries etc.
