I experienced an issue where my room was not properly secured upon arrival.
I checked in around 9 PM, but the first key card I was given didn’t work. After returning to the front desk and getting a replacement, I was directed to another room—only to find that it was already occupied with someone else’s belongings inside. This made me seriously question how the hotel manages its rooms.
Although the staff tried to find an available room afterward, I had to wait in the lobby for about more than an hour. During that time, the manager was unavailable, and when they finally showed up, they offered a number of excuses but little sense of genuine accountability. In the end, I was given a room that did not match my original reservation, but at least I was finally able to rest.
I received a refund for the first night, so I’m giving this place 2 stars. However, without that refund, it would have been a 1-star experience. The manager’s attitude was particularly disappointing. Housekeeping was also infrequent, which affected the overall comfort of my stay.
On the positive side, considering the price, the location, neighborhood safety, and free parking are definite advantages. If you can tolerate the risk of issues like not having a properly assigned room, it might be an option—but I wouldn’t recommend it for those seeking a reliable and stress-free stay.
