Cute apartment very close to lots of things like Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, car rental places. Elevator was fun and it perfectly fit all 7 of us (2 first day then 7 for last day). 3 bathrooms was also a huge plus! Loved the outside deck area too. Host was super nice and helpful and gave us great instructions on getting in. Will def book again when we come back and we def will come back!!! Love Italy!!!!!!

The location of this property was excellent and very convenient for our stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the home did not quite match our expectations. The property felt somewhat tired and in need of updates, and the overall cleanliness could have been better.There were several maintenance issues that stood out, including holes in the walls that should be repaired. Accessing the property was also more difficult than expected, as the check-in and entry process was not very straightforward.While the location was a major positive, the property would benefit from some attention to maintenance, cleanliness, and guest access to provide a better overall experience.

Nice location. Host was communicative. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Nice secure appt block. Could do with some updating the decor. The drains smelled. Could do with a few more amenities (updated coffee pot, soap, tea towels). Can hear neighbours in other apartments, but that may be usual for the city. Overall for the location and for a reasonable price I would go for it, but recommend to owners to spend a few euro on updating.

The property was nice and in a location. Might be a little small for 7 adults. But overall, the property was nice and we enjoy it.

6 People (family) just stayed 5 nights. Location is extremely good. Grocery store, mini market, and tons of restaurants and cafes just steps away. Not a 5* accommodation but you are not paying for that either. It's a perfect place for families to stay close to most things you need to see. Super responsive on Whatsapp after you are off the VRBO platform. Just a heads up. Download the app to open the front door BEFORE you get there and pay your travel tax via PayPal, that is the easiest way to do it! Plenty of dishes and glasses. Love having a washer (no Dryers in Italian usually) they have drying racks. Deck is a bonus. Overall a very nice experience! Only advice for owner is maybe a soap dish in showers.

They provide almost no assistance to get into the apartment, which is very complicated. The apartment has no essentials - no soap shampoos no paper towel no dish rack. Nothing in the refrigerator not even basic. The beds and bathroom were adequate, but nothing special but a big distraction by dealing with a horrible owner.

Perfect location to everything

The spot is incredible. You are within walking distance of everything to see in Rome with the exception of Vatican City (45ish minutes). We walked everywhere else and loved every minute. Shopping, outstanding food, grocery store all within 10 minutes walking. Paul was an amazing host for us. Will definitely return to this exact same spot when we come back!

Great location!

This apartment is in a great location for a short walk to the Spanish steps, and a short cab ride to Vatican City. It’s spacious and roomy and the AC worked well. The communication with the owner was very good. They only provide one roll of toilet paper per bathroom so bring or buy some extra!

Rome Apartment

The location of this apartment was great. Close to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. There are 3 bathrooms which is great for 6 women. One of the bedrooms was on the smaller side so it was a little tight for two grown women. We ended up turning the bed so that no one was sleeping against the wall.

**Rating: 1 Star**While marketed as being in a good location, the reality is different, especially during the heatwave. It's at a significant walking distance from Rome's main attractions.Navigating the heat made long walks unpleasant so we were forced to rely on taxis.The only attraction within a reasonable walking distance is Villa Borghese. The building's elevator is tiny, requiring us to make several trips just to get our group and belongings to the floor. The host provided only a single key to the building. For a 3-bedroom apartment intended for a large family, this was logistically impossible to manage and prevented any of us from coming and going independently.The apartment is significantly run-down and poorly maintained.Furnishings are dated and worn, and the cleanliness of the unit upon arrival was barely acceptable.The kitchen was completely devoid of essentials.We could not even make a coffee, as there were no supplies—no sugar, no coffee pods.The air conditioning was non-functional upon arrival. After over an hour we realized the remote control batteries were dead and had to go out and puchase new ones.The terrace, a selling point in the listing, was full of cigarettes and dirt.The only umbrella provided was broken, leaving us without shade during the intense summer sun.This property does not reflect the listing.Guests should be aware that the state of the apartment and location do not offer the comfortable, high-quality experience that is advertised.

Nice apartment in great location

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Great location for sightseeing and eating out. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Enjoyed having the terrace, too. Our host Paolo was helpful, answered our questions promptly and even set up our rides from and back to the airport. We weren’t crazy about the Nuki door lock app, though, because of the confusion at the beginning and later, fear of one’s phone dying (which would mean you’d be locked out). If needed, Paolo could unlock it remotely, but fortunately we didn’t have to bother him. It would have been helpful to have the unlock access on at least two of our phones. That said, we would still rent again.

This property was nothing it was presented to be. Peeling paint, disrepair, basic needs like a bar of soap, mopine (dish towel), a bedspread in master bedroom etc. Ad states cash accepted at property. No it is not! Had to open a special account to pay tax in order to check in. Host was rude and didn’t communicate. Wouldn’t provide multiple codes for all adults to access property. There isn’t a coffee maker or toaster on premises as listed in amenities. I could go on but I hope you get the point. Penthouse indeed. Will provide pics if desired

Arrived on the property to find that that the elevator was not functioning, property was on 6th floor. Once inside the apartment smelled of staleness, dirty laundry found in the closet. Again once inside, there was no power in the apartment. Subsequently had to message the owner, and get instruction on how to reset the breakers outside in the central hallway of the building. Overall, very disappointing with the check in process and lack of attention to the property prior to our arrival.

We were 3 women traveling for 1month in Italy, we stayed in 5 different apartments and houses . This was by far the worst of them all. The tax payment which is supposed to be paid at the property had to be done beforehand, and either done by paypal or another debit application, which charged a service charge and cash advance fee. The lock system, is done through an app. It never worked correctly. Sometimes we would have to wait for someone to exit so we could get in the front entry. The apartment is far from a penthouse, it is on the top floor. It is extremely dated, and run down. The kitchen is newish, but there were not enough coffee cups for 3 people,not a wine glass in sight.And a coffee pot that was so old that it spun on the stove top. The tea maker cord was frayed. The paint was peeling, the outlets were overloaded. No soap or any toiletries were provided. The shower was hot, and the water pressure decent. You could hear everything through the walls of the other apartment. One of the bedrooms has the only window that opens into the hallway corridor of the building. Paul did try to make the best at communicating but at time lacked answering and providing solutions. Having an outside space was nice, but did not make up for the rest that lacked.

We arrived expecting a nice apartment based on past reviews, but the reality was shocking. The place is run down & neglected. Floors were dirty. The beds were horrible & nearly impossible to sleep on, some pillows had no pillowcases, and they were so flat they might as well not exist. The water pressure was almost nonexistent, and there isn’t even a real living room. The entire apartment is poorly maintained & falling apart.The furniture is worn out, the bathroom pipes have paint peeling off them, and the patio furniture was covered in grease. These are basic issues any decent host would address, yet they were ignored here. Essential items like hand soap, paper towels, or a few kitchen basics were not provided. Almost every window was broken or misaligned, making them difficult to open, and one of the bidet faucets didn’t work. Even the closet doors had no handles.The smaller bedroom was completely unusable — the bed was so bad that we had to rent a separate hotel room for my mother just so she had somewhere to sleep. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about this property. What was supposed to be a special birthday trip turned into an accommodation nightmare when we were forced to spend 2,000 on a hotel to salvage the trip.It’s clear the owner profits from this property but invests nothing back into maintenance or guest comfort. Aside from providing two pillowcases, the host offered no apology, and no effort to make things right. Avoid this listing!
