My check-in experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I was informed that the room type I had reserved and prepaid for would not include access to the second bedroom because there were only two guests listed on the reservation. This made little sense, as I specifically booked and paid for a two-bedroom suite with two king beds so that each guest would have their own room and bed.
Rather than proactively resolving the issue, I was told I would need to pay an additional fee to access the second bedroom. After a long day of travel, this was both frustrating and unnecessary. The matter was not properly addressed until I firmly requested to speak with a manager and made it clear that I would dispute the charges if the accommodations I reserved were not honored. Only then was the situation rectified.
Guests should not have to escalate concerns in order to receive what they have already paid for.
On a positive note, the room itself was impressive. The layout was thoughtfully designed, and the flow of the space made it easy to relax, unpack, and settle in immediately. The bedroom areas offered privacy and stunning views of Rome’s skyline. The upstairs seating area was inviting and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The suite was spotless, and the hotel’s location was ideal—conveniently close to transportation, dining, and major attractions.
