«We did enjoy our stay in this great holiday villa a lot. It is very calm, yet close to Porto. Many things to see in the environment but also a great place to relax and enjoy the pool, the views across the Douro valley and the nice house, which is well equipped. Last but not least did we enjoy the hospitality of proprietor Seabastião a lot, including his warm welcome and good advice and tips for day trips.»

«Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Carlos qui est super gentil et très à l’écoute. Pour les prochains vacanciers Carlos maîtrise à la perfection plusieurs langues dont le français. Bien utile pour profiter de ses judicieux conseils. The garden was beautiful as well with a beautiful pool and lovely outdoor furniture to enjoy. Beds were very comfortable and home was very clean. «As the name implies, this was an excellent place to get to know Madeira. The grounds of this property is truly a gardener’s paradise with *labeled* endemic Madeiran species as well as exotics, including massive rhododendrons. The home itself was very clean and cozy with all the comforts needed. «Loved the location and host at this property. A beautiful view from the terrace. Large home with plenty of space to spread out and walking distance to everything. Lots of space to park your car in the yard. My only suggestion for the owner is to perhaps purchase a heat pump or 2, so you aren't primarily reliant on the fireplace for heat in such a large home. :)»

«A beautiful villa in wonderful surroundings, well equipped and spacious. Dante and Rosa were wonderful hosts, providing us with home made cake, biscuits, bread etc and were extremely helpful. The National Park was a delight and we spent interesting days in Porto, Braga, Montalegre and Guimaraes, as well as swimming in the river and the pool. «The pictures show less than reality. Don’t doubt about this property cause it’s just perfect! And what about the host. In more than 30 rentals on those kind of websites, I’ve never seen an host that dedicated to his guests. Would go back again!»
