Overall we had a great stay! Our first house did not meet our expectations for upkeep (which we found out was due that owner, not housekeeping). However, the staff was incredibly helpful & moved us to a much better house right away & loved it! Here are some pros & cons for consideration:
Pros: the waterpark was so much fun, the private pool at the house was a huge bonus, & we loved all the amenities (free breakfast, free theme park shuttles, & staff friendliness). A huge shoutout to Danny who was extra helpful in getting us what we needed, and going above and beyond!
Cons: 3 of the main reasons we booked had some set backs. First, you have to PAY EXTRA to heat your pool and hot tub. $60 per day with a 2-day minimum. We were not aware of this. Second is the breakfast. We are happy it’s free, however it is extremely small. Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, pastries, bread for toast, juice, & coffee. That’s it. Slightly disappointing. Third, is the theme park shuttles. It is through a 3rd party & very limited for times. For example, if you want to rope-drop at Magic Kingdom, you would be very late as the earliest shuttle picks up at 9:20am. We ended up paying for an Uber to get to the park earlier. Then for Universal Studios, the shuttle picks you up at 7:15pm only, so were unable to stay for the parade at 7:00PM because we had to get to the shuttle on time.
If the shuttle times were better, the breakfast bigger, & the house pool heat included, it would be 5 stars all day!
