Does not accommodate 5 people as described. There was only 1 king bed and 2 small sofas, one was able to lay flat, like a very small futon and the other was just a narrow sofa.

This place was beautiful and spacious. Has character and on a pretty quiet street but steps away from everything. Stayed here for a girls trip and we had the best time.

No hot water , only 3 towels for a stay of 5 days, only two roles of toilet paper. communicating with the host was non existent. I would never rent again or refer anyone to rent this facility again. It was extremely hot in the room. Coffee machine did not work

The location was perfect for going to the Lyric Theater and it was decently clean. I was so thankful our host was so responsive and also able to get us into the stay several hours before check-in which allowed us to get ready for our evening plans without rushing.Only downsides were the lack of towels (one bath towel per person, one hand towel, and zero dish towels) for a multiple night stay for 3 people, lack of paper products (tissues), and the shower water temperature was cool on the second day. Overall, I would stay here again. P.S. Bringing a sound machine is a life saver for sleep if you aren't used to the city.

The location of this apartment is great, the large room is beautiful, and we had a very good time staying there. But it isn't what I consider a "luxury" apartment--only a few towels, no washcloths, no coffee filters for the coffee maker, and inconsistent hot water in the shower.

We had a good stay and the location was definitely the highlight. The apartment is in a great area, very close to the subway and convenient for visiting Manhattan. Being on the 12th floor, which is the top floor of the building, was also really nice. The apartment was spacious and had a good layout for a group or family.One thing to note is that the kitchen was not very well equipped for cooking. We planned to cook during our stay, but there were not enough kitchen utensils like knives and spoons to comfortably prepare meals. The bathroom also did not have hot water during our stay. Communication with the host was a bit slow, although they were still helpful and worked on the issues the next day. I would recommend this place for travelers looking for a spacious stay in a great location near Manhattan, especially if you do not plan to cook much during your trip.

Nice historic place with a lot of charm. This place really grew on us and had a nice, welcoming, vibe to it. Place was clean and management very responsive. The location was perfect for us with easy walking access to many sites and Grand Central Station.

The location is amazing for sight seeing. The host was quick with responses and the room was neat and tidy. I visited right after a winter blizzard, so the temperatures were quite low and there was no hot water in the kitchen or bathroom. In complaining to the host, they sent facilities next day, but the issue wasn't fixed. Except the hot water issue the stay was pleasant.
