There are a lot of good things about this hotel, but 2 negative things that really bothered us about our stay are a couple of decisions that the hotel has made that are really unfortunate. 1: The remodeled rooms are very nice & comfortable except the bathroom door is a sliding door with no lock and a 1 inch gap on either side where you can easily see inside the bathroom. Especially with kids, this is a lack of privacy that is not acceptable. 2. They apparently allow animals to stay in the hotel. Besides having to watch dogs crap in the parking lot and near the entrance, a room across from us had two dogs that were barking and howling and could be heard loudly all down the hallway. A huge turnoff. I don't want to sleep in a room where animals have done who knows what on the bed/carpet, etc.
Other than these 2 issues, the hotel is otherwise nice, in a safe location and a decent breakfast offering.
