The day of our booking we never received check-in instructions and after the check-in time we tried to call the provided host number to no avail. We ended up calling VRBO to gain access. Upon entry, we immediately were met with an overwhelming smell of Febreze. I located 8 separate self dispensing room spray devices (plug ins) that were impacting our sinuses. You could taste it in your mouth. The layout of the rental is disorienting, there’s no couch. The only TV in a common area is in front of a massive 10 person dining room table that takes up all the walking space. There’s no comfortable seating area on site. As a couple we had to sleep in separate beds due to their size and dents. The neighboring homes have roosters and chickens roaming the streets making sounds at all hours. The backyard is decent, but the neighbors cigarette smoke pours in and the mosquitoes are bad. There’s also a sign in kitchen indicating breakfast is included in the stay and we never got anything. This property leaves a lot to be desired.
